Dr. James Ervine

The clinic only offers 1 way of contact, a phone number with office hours that don't seem to reflect when the phones are picked up. Im aware the clinic closes at the end of December 2021 but I've been trying for weeks, multiple times a day, to get through to someone and they never seem to pick up. What are current patients and other businesses supposed to do to get in touch with them?

I have had Dr. Ervine since I was pregnant last and youngest boy is now 11. I am pregnant now with my third and had been just as great and truly helpful/knowledgeable. He’s a great Dr., knows his stuff and his receptionist is very sweet as well. Always feel welcome.

'Essentially' I agree with the reviews, i.e., doctor is 'okay' but with a caveat in my opinion he does not listen as he once did, and it is not pandemic caused again, in my opinion. Many doctors, 'receptionists', health care workers, etc., use the pandemic as a 'catch all' excuse these days for everything. The issues were always there, the pandemic just revealed them!. As for the receptionist, like the reviews except one I write no positive comment.

It is sickening to see that there are other ratings that aren't 5 stars. Ervine is a doctor for patients he currently has and is not accepting any more patients. Hands down the best experience and care that comes from this facility. Never felt more care from a human being that is genuinely interested and concerned with your interests and concerns then he is. Always leaving feeling the best and like I can do anything.

A google search for 'doctors taking new patients' shows this office, but when I called and asked nicely, the front desk was very rude, saying quickly "no, gotta go now, bye" and hung up on me. It only takes an extra few seconds to be nice about it. It's really hard being new to the area, not feeling well and trying to find a doctor. :

Probably one of the worst experiences you can get in life is calling this office. The front office receptionist is one of the rudest women you'll find - who is also the wife of the Doctor I've been told. She's so disrespectful, thinks they're above all, and have one of the worst attitudes you'll find. I know doctors are far and few here in Vancouver, but this one is not worth it.

Very empathetic Dr. who not only provides you with the relevant medical information but a proponent of overall healthy living and mental wellness

Have been seeing for many years. Moves quickly but never in a rush. Takes his time with his clients

Best family doctor around! Very busy because he does care so much.

just called to see if accepting patients. Reception said no, bye now and hung up.
