Dr. David D Dargis

I arrived at 8:15 this morning. I called because the sign on the door said to. Amber answered the call and asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. She said that there were no appointments available but walk-in hours start at 9 and I could be seen then. At 9 I called and described what I wanted to be seen for to which I was told I would need an appointment because the walkin appointments are limited to 15 minutes. At that time, she now had a noon appointment available, so I scheduled it. I got some errands around town done, and arrived back at the office at approximately 11:20pm. I called and again spoke to Amber, told her I was there to check in for my noon appointment. I was told to go ahead and come on into the office. I waited in the waiting room until noon, during which time my presence was visibly acknowledged by staff. At noon, another family walked in, asked if they were ready to see them, and Amber took them straight back. I got up and went to the window, when she returned a few minutes later, I asked when I was going to be brought back for my noon appointment to which she replied, it’s 12:03, your appointment was at 12. Apparently now the rooms were all full and there was no place for me. I was told again to sit and wait. This is absolutely unacceptable. You should fire Amber. You just lost a regular patient of 6 years, and you'd be surprised how often I get asked where to go around here for healthcare.

My husband called ahead for walk in appointments. He is experiencing body aches, slight fever and sore throat. All the symptoms of either bronchitis or the flu. He gets there only to be turned away because he didn't have a covid test. A key piece of information not included in his phone call. We are both covid free. Because of previous experience we know what he has. He needs to be seen and not turned away. Never again will we go here.

Had an excellent visit! The young lady who checked me in and drew my blood was extremely knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. When the dr got to me he took his time to explain things to me and was so helpful. I highly recommend dr dargis and his staff!!!
