Dr. Hacker was unpleasant to say in the least. After having one swollen tonsil for nearly 5 months, I was referred by my doctor to see what was going on. Every time I asked a question, he got annoyed with me and would cut me off. Whenever he asked me a question and I started to answer, he would cut me off and say “that’s not what I asked.” The whole point of this appointment was to find out if I needed to have my tonsils removed. He simply asked me if I wanted them to be taken out. When I asked him what his opinion was and if it was something I should be worried about enough to have them removed, he said “well clearly you’re not ready to make a decision, so you can come back and talk to me when you are.” Are you kidding me? I waited how many months for that, waited in his office for over 2 hours to get a professional opinion, and that’s how he treated me? I’m considering waiting another several months to see someone else that treats their patients with respect. I don’t ever want to see him again.
And I have to add as well, I made a google account specifically so I could post this review, so that should tell you how disappointed I am.

Went in for a septoplasty 4 years ago and it turned out so bad that now I have to go to plastic surgeon to correct his mistakes. He removed way too much cartridge so now the doctors have to go my rib to replace the cartridge!! Terrible doctor! Saw 3 plastic surgeons and they all were shocked of the terrible work he’s done.

Great attention to detail and very punctual. Had noted an unrelated detail from a previous examination that helped another diagnosis. Explained well what's happening and why.

When I first went to this doctor(about a year ago), upon asking some questions he seemed like getting annoyed. Not all of my concerns were answered properly, he was just rushing and started putting notes for my family doctor, and that was the end of it ! At that point I thought that may it was just a one time thing he might be having a bad day. Today I went again, for the suggestion of my previous continued nasal issue, he asusual, got super annoyed when I started asking questions. While telling the risks of surgery, upon being asked a question from me, he raised his voice and answered the same. He has zero tolerance of questions being asked, zero patience if needed to explain anything and zero manners when it comes to the "way of explaining/answering concerns of patients".
I will never go to this place again.

Could not be happier with the experience I had with Dr. Hacker and his staff ( Anna). One week post-op (today) from septoplasty and turbinate reduction and was treated great the whole way through.
Thabks again to Dr. Hacker, Anna & the staff at Etobicoke General Hospital.
