OAKLANDS Dental was professional, thorough and welcoming to me as a new patient. They utilize all state of the art equipment and together we discussed plans for my dental health. We went over short term and long term issues and preventive care They referred me to an orthodontist for immediate work and I was scheduled into the specialist within two days. Outstanding!
Lovely up to date office with top of the line equipment and great staff. Dr. Gerard is a highly skilled professional who really takes care of his customers. His explanations of any dental procedures to be performed are easily understood and he gives a great needle!
I went to Oaklands Dental for the first time last week and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. Dr. Girard is very personable and transparent, and also very funny! I really appreciate how he walks through every step of the process in detail so I understand what is happening and why. I have some pretty severe dental anxiety and Dr. Girard was very understanding of this. I was encouraged to ask questions and share any concerns I may have regarding my treatment plan for a few root canals/fillings; he answered all of them honestly and compassionately. I also found reception to be very friendly and responsive as well. Trina got me booked very quickly for a root canal procedure just so I wouldn't have to be in pain much longer! I can only say positive things about Oaklands Dental so far, and I feel very lucky to be a patient here.
I was looking for a new dentist in Victoria when mine retired, and I was very happy to find Oaklands Dental! Everyone at the office was really friendly, and they have much more advanced tech than the old x-ray machine that my my old dentist had. The initial exam included a 360 X-ray and a full 3D scan of my teeth. I got a consult for Invisalign. The doctor explained why my teeth were wearing down and moving around and showed me what could be done to fix it with a render of my 3D teeth. No pressure at all, just good information. The office is warm and inviting. You have a nice view of the sky outside their window.
I need fairly extensive work due to accidents and poor dental care as a child. Dr. Girard was able to offer options not available elsewhere. He explained my options and laid out a clear plan to move forward. Very happy with the care everyone in the office has provided.
An excellent clinic. All the dental work I've had done was accomplished expertly. They also have very good air quality measures in place, including multiple air filter units.
I have been coming to Oaklands Dental for a four years now and the receptionists, dental hygienists and Dr.Girard are all extremely welcoming, kind and professional. The office is always clean and well kept. I am very happy I found this dental office!
This is a beautifully designed office with some innovative equipment. Cleaning was done efficiently and effectively. Everyone who works there, communicates well. Dr. Girard clearly discusses the plan and doesn’t put any pressure.
All staff are professional, helpful and friendly. The practice technology is up to date and Dr. Franco is an excellent dentist. I would highly recommend Oaklands Dental.
After leaving an early morning message about a toothache they got me in at 8:30 that morning. Dr Girard is an excellent dentist. My husband and I have been patients since he took over many years ago. Always prompt excellent care.
