Dr. Christopher Man

Dr Man is the best! He has been seeing my husband for 30 years. He has taken very good care of him. Every time we go visit him he always takes his time and never rushes.

Surly receptionist. The prior reviews are not kidding! Overbooked. Long wait. Waited more than 1.5 hours. Doctor seems competent, he really needs to tighten up his practice. Politeness in the initial reception and punctuality go a long ways to creating image of professionalism. As a fellow professional, I would suggest making changes to avoid charges of misconduct or malpractice. Malcontent patients can cause a lot of grief. Bedside manners go a long way.

Dr. Man is very professional with great sense of humour. My mom was referred to Dr. Man by her family doctor. She was suffering from severe ear pain before seeing Dr. Man today. Dr. Man was very patient with her. He diagnosed her problem and relieved her pain. My mom and I can never thank you enough for your services. You are truly a lifesaver.

I was referred to Dr. Man by my family doctor as I was constantly getting sinus infections. Went to see Dr. Man and he told me that I needed surgery for both my left and right side. After the first surgery I could breathe and sleep. Second surgery was scheduled for this Jan and after that one, I can now breathe easily. Sleep is great now and when working out I don't get tired as fast. Dr. Man is very direct and tells you like it is. I find that awesome. He also gives you instructions on what to do before and after surgery. As long as you follow those and any other instructions he gives you, you will have a great experience.

In September 2018, I developed a nasty cold that took several months to resolve. As a consequence of this cold, my right ear was in a lot of pain. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Man whom I visited for the first time at the beginning of March. Since then, I've seen him 3 times. He is obnoxiously rude, impatient, fails to give you important information, and makes assumptions on how you are taking care of yourself - and makes you feel small about it! Each time I went to his office, I had to wait over an hour - only to be seen for less than 5 minutes. He does not listen to his patients and their problems thoroughly and is highly dismissive. I usually do not write reviews, but felt the need to with Dr. Man - would not recommend to anyone!

This disgraceful doctor shouldn't be allowed to practice anymore. He doesn't care about his patient and want them in and out of his office ASAP. He needlessly berate his patients and has a nasty attitude. How he even lasted this long in this profession is beyond me.

Extremely rude receptionist. English isn’t my mother’s first language and she misheard 2:15 and 2:50. The receptionist responded with “Oh my goddd” a couple of times instead of making it easier for my mother to understand. It made my mother feel unwelcomed. So disappointed in your staff and how they treat others.

I had surgery in April 2016 because of a deviated septum. They put me to sleep, and after I woke up I didn't feel any pain, only the discomfort of not using my nose for breathing. For the first few hours I had to learn how to gently swallow sips of water and small bites of food in other not to feel pressure in my ears. The worst part was trying to sleep with my mouth open. After one week Dr Man removed the gauze from one nostril, leaving the other in place for three more days. The doctor used gel to avoid contact between the gauzes and the skin, so removing them didn't cause any pain. The surgery was a success, and my nose has been clear since, like it's never been before. During every visit Dr Man has been very friendly and professional. I highly recommend him if you have similar issues.

Reception is very impatient. Tried to be polite and was treated as I'm wasting their time. Even though they were the one ended up wasting my time by giving me the wrong information when I booked my appointment so I had to go a second time. Further more, no apologies. They act as if I'm the one at fault when I followed exactly what they told me. Not once I showed any hostility to them either. Honestly, outside of disappointment, I'm just confused why they treated me the way they did.

I had Surgery on the April 23rd, 2015 - Nasal Polypectomy and Turbinectomy, I believe. The gauze that remained in my nose for a week after the surgery was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had, but is unavoidable and does play a crucial purpose to healing process. When visiting Dr. Man to remove the gauze, it was very quick and painless. There was some weird tingly sensation as the last of the gauze was pulled out, but the slimy jelly that covers the gauze makes the whole process far more comfortable than I think it would without it. Instantly I could tell the surgery was a success despite having swelling and still not being able to breath through my nose 100%. It has almost been another week and each day gets better than the last as far as breathing goes. My first night without the gauze I noticed my sleeping has improved and so far very little snoring! I would definitely recommend Dr. Man if you have any issues. He has a charming upbeat personality and seems to enjoy his job too.
