Dr. Andrew Tortorella

My boys and I have been going to the Tortorella Dentistry in N/falls for a number of years now, and the experience is always top notch. The front desk receptionists are always very welcoming, ensuring that your schedules are accommodated with efficient follow-up reminders. I appreciate the relationship we have built with our dental hygienist, Mary, who takes such good care of all her patients. There is always an abundance of compassion, empathy and humour to alleviate stress. Whenever friends ask around for a ‘new dentist’, I highly recommend dr. Tortorella who pays attention to detail, has great interpersonal skills and treats my family with care. Thank you, team!

Good dentist, poor ethics. I was in debilitating pain from a broken wisdom tooth to the point where I couldn't drive and get anywhere safely on my own. I canceled my first appointment because I found a dentist that could get me in and on antibiotics right away, rather than me waiting a few days. I figured I could get the x-rays transferred at a later date, save everyone the headache, and not have to wait days on end to start killing any infection that could be present. The second time I canceled; I quite literally can not go anywhere because I had to go to the hospital to get such intense pain meds that all I can do is sleep. Regardless of this all being explained, I was still told that "unfortunately, you'll have to find another dentist due to two 'short cancels'." What? I short canceled DUE TO MY TOOTH. I absolutely WILL be finding a new dentist that actually cares about their patients. Do better.

I have been going here for years. The ladies at the reception desk are so kind and Maria my hygienist always does a wonderful job!

Excellent doctor and staff. I have a terrible fear of needles. Dr. was very kind, understanding and patient. He was very gentle and I did not feel any discomfort or pain when he was doing the freezing. His assistant is very gentle and polite as well. I had two fillings done at his office and I am very happy. He did a great job. Overall everyone who works at his office is very nice and polite. I highly recommend Dr. Tortorella and his team.

Our family has been very pleased with the professional care of dentistry Dr. Tortorella and his staff have provided over the years. The assistants and hygienists are very knowledgeable about the dental procedures and have high standards when it comes to the care and maintenance of our teeth. I have a low tolerance for pain and "that dental chair" has on occasion caused some anxiety, however, Dr. Tortorella and his staff have always been sensitive to that fact and consistently made me comfortable and "somewhat" relaxed!! We are also pleased with the consideration shown by the office staff: the friendly phone reminders, the assistance in payments and the accommodation in changing appointments for our sons who live out of town!! A BIG thank you to Dr. Tortorella and staff!!

My fiancee had recommended Dr.Tortorella to me because I needed a new dentist after mine retired. I must say the staff is incredibly professional and kind. The office has a laid back atmosphere and listen to patients needs and wants. My fiancee had some dental anxiety, and the staff always makes him feel comfortable. I enjoy that the hygienists and doctor are straight shooters, they are honest and do only the necessary dental work required. I am so happy with my new dental office and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

I have been going to this dentist office since I was a little girl. Once my dentist retired, I stayed with this office when Dr. Tortorella became the new dentist because the staff there is so amazing! To begin, I have never waited more than 5 minutes to get in for my appointment. Their scheduling is impeccable. I have a very hectic schedule and Janet the receptionist is always so accommodating with me whether it be rescheduling my appointment which happens often!, calling me to remind me of my appointment and forgiving me if I forgot I even had an appointment this happened once lol!. I usually have Mary as my dental hygienist but I am always open to using other ones as well. No matter if it is Mary or a newer one I was there last week and had Katelyn, they are always so friendly and chatty, making sure I am comfortable and not in any pain at all. I always get asked what flavours I would prefer and do not get reprimanded for always forgetting to floss I know I know it should be done!. At the end of every appointment, Dr. Tortorella comes in to do a check on my teeth and he is always very pleasant, asking me about my teaching career, how my other projects are going and taking his time to answer any questions I may have. If have to come back for additional work on my teeth with Dr. Tortorella, he is usually assisted by Andrea who is always so cheery, talkative and reassuring. The staff at this office is always professional yet they make you feel so comfortable that going to the dentist is not a pain but a pleasure. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a positive change in the way their teeth are cleaned. As you can tell, they treat all of their patients like family and I wouldn't go to any other dentist office in the city :

I must say I am super afraid of any dentist. However my experience here was excellent! From making the appointment right to completion! I highly recommend . Everyone is so nice and understand the true fear that some of us have. Thanks so much. I will be back for sure!!!!!!

I became familiar with Dr. Tortorella and his wonderful staff when I would accompany a senior friend of mine to her appointments. From the time I signed in with Janet or with lovely Lisa now too I was made to feel welcomed and important. They are all wonderfully accommodating and the dental work is first-rate. I have dental anxiety and I can honestly say that the staff and how they care for their patients has had a very large hand in alleviating that angst. I am so very much appreciative that they now take care of all my Oral Health needs.

Dr.Tortorella and all of his staff are amazing. They are so friendly and kind. Everyone that works there is professional and fantastic at their job. I went there a few years ago urgently in a lot of pain and was treated so kindly and quickly. In the past my children had a few bad experiences with other dentists but Dr.Tortorella and all the staff have helped my children forget about those times. My children are both put under to have their treatments done. However the last two times my son has been able to be awake for his appointments. He is able to do this because how incredible Dr.Tortorella and all the staff are. I have recommend Dr.Tortorella to everyone I know and will continue to do so. I struggle with Neuralgia on the left side of my face and they always do everything to keep me comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about everyone who works there!
