Downtown Home Inn

I am so happy I decided to stay here, the pricing for the location and service you get is amazing. The rooms are very cozy, the beds are comfortable as comfortable can be and the general cleanliness of the hotel is very good. Wide range of choices for breakfast too! There was no hassle in booking or checking out either. It was all a very smooth experience. I would love to stay here again when we next visit Canada. -Kurt

Stayed at the Downtown Home Inn in the apartment suite for a week. The staff were knowledgeable of the area and very helpful when asked for advice on area attractions. The bed was very comfortable and even with at the hot weather the room was cool and comfortable. The breakfast options included were great even though I really only ate cereal. The only problem I had was the first set of towels were a bit musty but the next set after having them changed were fine. Overall I'm very happy with my stay and would recommend the Downtown Home Inn.

There's nothing negative to say. Pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable bed, fabulous location, generous breakfasts. Maybe I could note that the stairs are steep? And the bathroom shelf could have been dusted note shared bathrooms. But it's a great place. Stay. You'll like it.

My husband and I stayed her for 2 nights and thought that it was ok place. Room was very small Lilly and we barely got our suitcases opened there on the floor - had to jump over them. Hand towel in shared bathroom had blood or something similar on it and was not changed during our stay at all. Breakfast ran out of basic stuff like bagels, green tee & had no orange juice at all. There was no place to leave daily feedback to the staff - it would have been useful. Very good location & generally ok place. Few minor fixes & it could be really good place!

I do not think I could have enjoyed a bed and breakfast more than I enjoyed this spot. The fact that I was surprised with gluten-free options was more than fantastic! My guest and I agree that the bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, the other guests were quiet and the location could not be beat! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Toronto. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.

Super nice host, very welcoming. Great Location. We were there on a weekend but it was not noisy at all. Breakfast is self service but has all you need to start into your day. Good price value.

I stayed here two years ago and had a great experience, but just finished a three-night stay this weekend and was not impressed. Our room the LILLY room was extremely small and very hot every night, despite the temperature being sub-zero every night during our trip. There was also a loud tapping noise on the metal roof outside of our window that kept us up every night... I ended up getting less sleep on this trip than I would have during a busy work week at home! The staff offered to refund us for a night but it would not have been feasible for us to find an alternative accommodation at such a last minute so we stayed. The management stopped responding to my emails after this and did not fix the issue. On the bright side, the location was great and the food was too. There was a large selection of breakfast food to choose from every morning.

Wanna enjoy city life in the midst of heart of the city? Than this is the place. Apartment rooms. We got lower basement, but it was not cozy as i thought before. Pricing was very budget friendly. Cannot expect more. Best nightlife can be enjoyed here. Happening places around. Room service & Breakfast was good.

Great place for the price. I had a beautiful overnight stay here. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The suite was clean, quiet and very comfortable. I am looking forward to staying again on my next TO trip.

Wow such a great experience staying here! Wasn't sure what to expect at first but the owner is so nice, the room was adorable and just what we needed, there was so many options for breakfast included in the room place and such a quaint and unique place to stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in TO!!
