The quiet mornings during the week are especially soothing, allowing for peaceful reflection and relaxation. However, as the day progresses, especially on weekends, more families with children come by to enjoy the beauty of this place.nnRecently, I have noticed some construction activities taking place near the lake. While I understand the need for development, I fear that the tranquility and serenity we cherish may be jeopardized in the near future. The noise and disruptions from the construction work could significantly impact the peaceful atmosphere that many of us appreciate so much.nnAdditionally, I would like to remind everyone about the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and tidy. It is disheartening to see plastic bottles and litter scattered on the ground, detracting from the natural beauty of the lake. It is crucial for all visitors to dispose of their garbage in the designated bins provided to maintain the cleanliness of this cherished area.nnI believe that by working together as a community, we can preserve the tranquility and beauty of our beloved lake for future generations to enjoy. Douglas Kennedy Park is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and amineties. Kid's play area with Waterpark is an amazing experience. It also has a beach volleyball. The floura and fauna were breathtaking. It has a walking trail along the lake.

Douglas Kennedy Park is a delightful place for the family with children. Many parking spots,  well maintained washrooms, splash pads, kids playgrounds, picnic tables, and benches in playgrounds and boardwalk. There are beach volleyball courts on the top of the small hill. We can see the Toronto skyline on the east side and the Mississauga Sail Club on the west end.nIt is a perfect place to go, whatever you want to have a family time or a quiet time to enjoy the scenery.nDefinitely recommend!

Great Family area . Minor league baseball game. Boats on the water. Beach volleyball.    Amazing

Great park area for families and children. Playground area next to the water front. Great area for morning walks and very quiet. Only a couple people could be seen so perfect area to social distance and enjoy some time away from everyday stress and unwind.
