What an incredible beach/lagoon here in Lakeview, Port Credit. The greenery, flowers, especially the scented wild roses in every colour, were strategically planted for enjoyment. Great place for friends, family or sole meditation.nHighly recommend this spot for anyone to enjoy. Not sure about swimming in the water, even though it looks clean. Lots of folks biking, walking, paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing. It is a great place to unwind and get a dose of nature at its finest.
Nice beach, always a busy parking, just don't park by the houses as they will ticket you $100bucks just for walk. Got a ticket last year ; It's a waste of money. There are two splash pads close by the area, a little slippery on some side. It has a playground and lots of court for baseball and badminton. Lots of people are kayaking. Just don't go closer to the boat side. It's extremely hot temperatures but full of trails to pass through and benches to sit surrounding the area or close by it. As long as you're good to walk. Parking site can be super busy. There are washrooms on-site by the boat side or splashpads and picnic shelter.
The kids play area was nice and so were the walking and cycling trails. The splash pad could be cleaner and so could the beach. Overall nice on a summer day. Ice creams were more more expensive compared to the vans in other parks if that's a consideration.
We bike or drive here from home. We always love sitting along the beach, kids wander in and out of the water. Splash pad and park are great too. Park management needs to leave the bathrooms unlocked. It is rather silly to have washrooms conveniently placed but inaccessible
Excellent park! I like how the layout was, centred in the middle was the lake and there were plenty of areas to do BBQ, and located nearby was a decent playground and a splash pad, however the park washrooms seem to be closed and the only one that was working was far away and may need up to a 10-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive.nnAlso I just happen to lose my Right AirPods Pro gen 2 there if anyone finds it just drop it by an Apple Store
