Don't bother staying at this hotel, go somewhere else. I'm really unsure how this hotel is 4 stars. It took over 45 minutes to check in at the hotel. The staff was very rude. The noise proofing in the room is non existent. You can hear every single noise that is coming from the hallway.You can even hear conversations happening in other rooms. The hot water is also non existent. The best the water can go is lukewarm.nnOn the bright side, the cleaning staff was very helpful and very nice. I wish I got her name.
Our first time staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown and what a wonderful start! The check-in experience was amazing thanks to Maria — she was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. She even made our children feel really special, which meant a lot to us as a family. The warm cookies were such a nice touch and absolutely delicious!. So far, everything has been perfect — looking forward to the rest of our stay!
This is a great location. There is an underground mall located below street level with a food court with a lot of choices. Note this is major thoroughfare for commuters so please stay out of their way our room was clean and updated. There was a nice shelving system near the entry where you can use drawers and store luggage. I wish there were more outlets near mirrors and lighting. It was slightly cramped for a family of 4 with teens but we made do. Staff were supper friendly and the breakfast at the restaurant on property was good.
Hotel locates in very nice position: everything is reachable by foot. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Room is nice, beds are comfortable. The breakfast is especially tasty. It was one of the best experiences I ever had. I totally recommend this hotel.
The hotel is extremely well located, in the heart of Montreal, has everything you need and great service. Overall I enjoyed our stay. They could pay a little more attention to the details when you had already requested in advance. But it was great and we will definitely come back.
