They have a good food, just make sure they don’t reheat your fries! Weird! I hope management look into this and prevent from happening again. Also, leaving the chicken exposed like that with no temperature control is not acceptable, it could be easily contaminated.
The poutine didn't use cheese curds, but the gravy was pretty tasty so I didn't mind. The fries were okay as well. The salad was a skimpy size: the container is approx. 10 inches by 7 inches, however it's very shallow and they dont even fill it up half way... And this was supposed to be a large serving! Not to mention the inclusion of unappealing lettuce ends in it. The dressing was also flavorless and really REALLY watery. The shawarma was ??? as when we opened the bag it was nowhere to be found despite us being charged for it.
I was excited to try DT Shawarma. I ordered Shawmara on the rocks; what a disappointment. My rice was lukewarm at best, and the so-called chicken was so dried out and cold that I thought it was crispy french fries. I would not go again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone I know.
This place used to be good, but the quality and portions have gone significantly down. I got the Shawarma plate and wrap. Both had very little chicken and flavorless. I would not recommend this place at all.
Ordered through skip for the second time it came without dressing on salad and was not kept in bag skip says you still received food you only get a 50% refund. Has anyone tried eating poutine when the gravy has gone solid? And ice cold shwarma is disgusting. Will not be ordering from this place again.
Personally, the best shawarma you can fine in Kitchener at the moment. One thing is hard to get right on the poutine and that's the gravy, and this one is the best. Recommend to try it out. Wraps are good as well, refreshing and not so heavy.Food: 5/5
Tried their shawarma poutine and pizza. Both great, but the poutine will bring me back. Friendly service, killer ingredients. Addition: pep pizza review - this doesn't stick out in any way. $9.05 after tax for a 13". Dough is light and fluffy. Somewhat flavorless. Good pep. Good cheese. Bland sauce. Definately go for their shawarma pizza over this.
Had high hopes for this place and tried it twice but very disappointing. Staff member was preparing raw chicken when I came in, and casually rinsed his hands under cold water with no soap before starting to prep my order. Then gave me cold, stale fries instead of cooking a fresh batch. Wrap was bland and wrapped in dirty, stained paper. Seriously, a shawarma place is not rocket science and there’s lots of competition. Why bother running a business like this if you’re just going to phone it in? Avoid.
I tried eating here for the first time and it's my last.This place really upset my stomach. Unsanitary nasty people that don't know anything about cooking food. It's over priced And they cheap out giving me mostly rice and hardly any chicken. Do not go here unless you want diarrhea
First time trying this and was very disappointed. We had two chicken Shawarma plates. Rice was very bland, and the chicken was over cooked and dry. I will not be coming back. Solid was decent
