This place is always worth the stop. Although it looks a little grungy, the food is incredible. The menu is breakfast all day and the bread is homemade. The eggs and bacon is honestly better than my mom’s. If you stay a bit and chat with the owner, he will start telling you stories that you and your travel companions will cherish. After your meal take a walk around the property to digest a little before continuing your drive. Be sure to check out this adorable post office and the greenhouse out back.

Jack and the others are really friendly good people. We had some good food and coffee, and the room was clean and comfortable. They're also one of those places you can roll up to in the middle of the night and just hop into an empty room and figure it out in the morning no problem, kind of the trust system for late night travelers. 4* because the food/drinks were expensive, but that's also kind of the deal out there. A bear bit my car during the night.

Great food, great coffee, I stop here all the time. Great all day breakfast! the homemade bread is to die for. The proprietor Jack is a great guy, always good for a laugh.
