I enjoy coming to this restaurant as it is very close to Masstown Market but doesn't come with the chaos that Masstown offers. It's an old truck stop restaurant serving basic meals. For the most part, everything is as you would expect. The typical food, prepared the old fashioned way, great, friendly staff, average decor, simple furniture. The last time we were there though, the food took forever to arrive, they forgot spoons, didn't come back to see how everything was, or if we wanted more. They do serve A LOT of food though, so you may get more than you paid for, or wanted. The couple next to us ordered one single meal between them and two plates, and both ended up still having way more food on their plates than a normal meal at home. We took food out in containers afterward. The staff though, was still very friendly, and we will still come back again because we like to support local businesses like this who may just have been having a bad/busy day. The place was packed when we were there, so they do deserve some allowance for time with that.

Great Homestyle Cooking The food is served piping hot and with a smile. Make sure you bring your appetite because the portions are a good size. This place is a favorite of both the truckers and the locals.

The staff was nice and friendly but the Double C breakfast was very disappointing. The hash browns weren't cooked all the way, the sausage tastes like chicken and I was a bit disappointed to find bologna instead of ham...the coffee was nice and fresh.
