Very easy location to drop off clothes that can be of better use to others. Very professional and efficient. Since I was moving, I decided to do a deep clean of my closet and I found so much clothes that I no longer need or wear in good condition that were just sitting there. Rather than selling, I highly encourage those to donate, it goes a long way!
The people there dedicate their time to help women feel valued, and do their utmost best to help as much as possible. Thank you very much! You are the light for so many women who have been in the dark for so long!
I was a volunteer at ChezDoris for over a year. I think it is a very important place for the women who come to Chez Doris, but I 'd like you to read my comment to be aware that there are urgent changes needed in the center. My main issue is for the center to have a policy to welcome feedback from volunteers instead of ignoring it. The women in Chez Doris deserve a liable, responsible, and honest treatment.
Women's resource place. If you are in need they can help you. It is a wonderful place for women to come to gather and fellowship. There are a number of activities and outtings to benefit from, as well as tasks to share. It really is for many of us who use the facilities, "a second home" .
A home when a person does not have a home, more than anything, a safe place to relax and re-energize before going out into the big bad world where there exist a small percentage of people whose only thought is to think of themselves.
Increadable people doing incredible work helping the community and women who need help. You should volunteer if you can because it opens up a new aspect of this city and they can always use the help
They help women with different things like clothing,food,manicure and pedicure making women feel better and relaxed
Great place and staff that provide a great service to women. A fantastic place to drop off clothes donations!
A friend of mine uses their services. I would highly recommend them if you are a victim of physical abuse or are struggling with homelessness or addiction. It is a organism targeted towards women.
Tanya & I are owners of La Friperie du Village and are extremely proud to be donating clothes, shoes, bags to this great cause!!!
