We ordered Chicken Karaage, Carbonara Udon and Shaka Shaka Fries as everyone recommended, wasn’t disappointed. Very Delicious!!!!!! Will come back for sure.
Visiting Edmonton and it was our first time at Dorinku Tokyo. I’m so glad we came here! There were so many items to try but ended up ordering Shaka Shaka fries, chicken karaage, and TNT pressed sushi. They were all good but Shaka Shaka fries is truly remarkable. We got a bottle of the Shaka Shaka seasoning so we can recreate it at home. I wish we have Dorinku in Winnipeg! Will definitely come back here in our next visit to Edmonton.
great service and nice atmosphere with delicious food & large portions making the prices worth it.nthe carbonara udon is served bubbling hot, very rich and creamy. the texture of udon works surprisingly well with carbonara! quite heavy so maybe better for a dinner and a bit unwieldy without a fork.nthe tofu pudding is also exceptional, perfect amount of sweet and sharp, refreshing for the heat and more filling than the size would have you believe!nthe shaka shaka fries are solid and enough for 3 people, easily.ni didn’t try the mapo or the matcha dessert but i was assured they were delicious.
Great taste and value for Asian cuisine – we went for evening supper and enjoyed a beef Ramen soup, edamame beans, and amazingly three dollar Asahi beer.nWe shared a couple sashimi and the shrimp alsonthe server was very friendly, it’s mostly full of university students so the prices are reasonable. A little bit off Whyte Avenue, but worth the short walk
