Dope As Duck

Let me just start with the taste of the food. It was regular food, not worth the over priced items. *If you're ordering online or food app, you're better off calling because they dont have anything in stock and say they cant change it on the app.* It's just one man working but they lie about when the order will be ready so expect another 30 minutes onto your expected pick up time. The inside looks very unprofessional & dirty & honestly that altered my appetite for my meal. The man cooking is the man at the front as well and wears outside clothes and dirty running shoes in the kitchen which is very unsanitary to me. All together, it seems as if this is a growing business but next time don't open to the public unless you're ready because no offence but it looks real disgusting in there. Just giving people a real picture of this place. - Service 1/10 - Cleanliness 1/10 - Food 4/10 if I could rate the chicken taco alone, it would be 2/10 Also I ordered a mac and cheese burger thinking it would be a burger, I guess that's my fault but its just mac & cheese with ground beef. I wouldn't come back here but wishing them well on their future.

This is the third chance that we have given this restaurant; the food is very tasty and savoury. The main reason for giving it a try again. This will be the last time. There are plenty of other places that serve the same product with far superior service. Ordered through delivery service, twice it was cancelled. Finally got through with a different app, they didn’t inform us that they had nothing in stock until we picked up. At that point, we were informed that more than half of our order had to be replaced. They also didn’t have coco bread. That’s like McDonald’s not having fries. Furthermore, the order is never ready on time. All three visits including this last time, order was not ready yet again. Given the times that we are in, I would love to continue to support local businesses in the area, but customer service should be paramount if they expect loyal customers.

Phenomenal Mac & Cheese! Made to order, really creamy and big macaroni have a good bite. HUGE portion over a pound and if you get it loaded with bacon, you'll need a nap. Tacos and brisket sandwich were large too. Tacos are double corn tortilla and sandwich on brioche bun piled high. Apparently the donuts are amazing too, but I will have to go back!

Ordered the mac and cheese for the first time and was definitely impressed! Portions are very generous for the price, but the shop itself leaves a bit to be desired when picking up food. I haven’t tried the food truck to compare, but would order from here again.

Originally a food truck, Dope as Duck has opened a store not too long ago. They serve a variety of different sandwiches, tacos, Mac n cheese & more. Although small, they get very busy, especially during the weekends with takeout/ delivery orders. I decided to order their Mac N Cheese, taco and sandwich as I wanted to try the items they were known for. Overall, I had no complaints with the food, but the only suggestion I’d make is the efficiency as me and a lot of other customers had to wait for more than 20 mins for our food. I had to wait for almost an hour because the worker who took my order placed my items in the heater and basically forgot about me. Also, I didn’t get the correct order as I wanted the Bacon Mac and Cheese, and Beef Brisket sandwich but got the jerk chicken versions of both which I didn’t mind. IG: Ayenomz

Mac and cheese and donuts was really good! The tacos were plain and dry and garnishes like onion, cilatro etc were not given on the side. The patties were tasty but it was microwaved. Long wait, 20 mins past the pick up time.

Donuts were 6 for $12, i thought they were pretty good for being "speciality" flavours, the churro donut was a great addition to the toppings too

I ordered Cheese smash and taco matamoros from here in Uber today. The patty in the burger was burnt and dry,also missing the tomato and onion. The taco shell was hard and the ground beef waa dry.

I only had the churro doughnuts but they were so so so good. Fresh, made to order and ridiculously delicious!

I tried Dope as Duck for the first time this week, and really enjoyed the food. We ordered the duck mac n' cheese, the brisket sandwich, a mild and a spicy beef patty, honey garlic wings, and cherry lime wings. Our little family devoured everything! My personal faves were the patties and the cherry lime wings, my sister loves the brisket, but it was all good. There was a little wait for the food because we didn't order ahead, but considering that the food is made fresh, I didn't mind the wait at all. As a bonus, the owner Raymond and his son are super sweet. A must try for sure!!!
