One of the best donut shops I’ve been to. The amazing selection of donuts make me so happy. Just wish it were a bit closer to DC. You can totally tell this is a neighborhood favorite for a lot of people. I’ve been here twice now and they always have a line. I didn’t have a single donut that i didn’t like. I got 6 donuts on my first visit and 4 on my second. It’s not only because of my love of donuts, but because they actually have very good donuts!
I always wanted to go there but whenever we are close by it was late and closed but today I was finally able to go! I was super excited. I bought six donuts- coconut cream, lemon jelly, strawberry cream, honey dip, cherry cake donut and butter crunch. Everything was delicious. I love donuts and they are definitely one of the best. My favorite above was coconut cream, lemon jelly and honey dip and butter crunch- basically everything. I live far from the store but if I live close by I would probably go there all the time. Im looking forward to my next visit. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and kind, I love that as well! 100% recommend!!!
An absolute must stop if you are in the area. If you live nearby, chances are you know full well how "dangerous" these doughnuts are! Everything we tried was amazing but I have a special fondness for the butter crunch. It's an old fashioned type of flavor that just hits the spot.
Delicious donuts and a huge selection!! So many kinds of donuts - I loved the strawberry jelly donut and apple fritter. They have several flavors of jelly donuts which is awesome. There's coffee if you want that too. And customer service is friendly!

Always satisfying! Every Sunday after church our family went to Donut Dip to bring treats to our great-grandmothers or home for Sunday breakfast. Mr. Shield's has been a very kind and generous man to the community. The staff has always remained wonderful. Highly recommend!
have you been here yet? i hope so because if you haven't then you're in for a real treat. almost every donut is a must but top faves for me are the sour cream. what a stand out incredible donut, moist and flavorful, not too sweet but obviously pretty sweet cause it's donut. any cream filled or jelly is a solid go to but i am keen on the new strawberry and cream one they've been making. fluffy. addicting. get them by the dozen and get your favorites on the side so you don't have to worry about cracking into the dozen, you won't regret it
I love me some old-school donuts. They never disappoint. I just wish they had more stores around, so it'll be easier for me to get to them
I stopped by here around 5pm on a Sunday and there were still plenty of flavors available. Sure, might not have been the freshest at this point but some donuts keep longer then others. I went with honey glaze, chocolate, spiced New England, cider, toasted coconut, bavarian cream. Honey glaze was light but decent chew. The spiced and cider donuts were very similar...the spice was just stronger. I gave away the bavarian cream so I can't comment on taste...it was however smaller than others noticeably. The chocolate was good...strong taste, nice crust on outside and moist on inside. Finally, my favorite was the toasted coconut. It was well covered with shredded toasted coconut flakes. Sweet but not overly. Texture was on point. Very solid overall. Far from home for me but if I drive by i90, this 5 minute detour is worth more visits. Another pro is that they stay open late.
