I 100% recommend Donna Mazerolle. She knows her stuff inside and out and has her clients’ best interest at heart- always. And, her staff is very efficient and super competent.
Have been going here for many years without issue. Things have clearly changed!! This company not only had my tax details for almost a month understandable, being busy this time of year but no questions were asked of me regarding the details of my return. Noone reached out to question what I had just processed it sending me the bill and attempted to process my tax return incorrectly. When I asked questions about it, I was basically treated like I was doing something wrong besides, when I did start asking questions, I was told the person doing them couldn’t answer my questions because it was out of their scope. Well, that certainly didn’t make it better when someone is processing my return that can’t even answer the questions about it. I asked for a call and that did’t happen either just emails that I was wrong and so was CRA. I contacted CRA directly to determine exactly how it was supposed to be done and the information is also directly on CRA’s website. I was told DAYS before the tax deadline that my return would NOT be processed by them that they would not proceed and to go find someone else after YEARS of trusting this business. I was treated like a liar and told they would not be responsible for CRA lying to me about what needed to be done. I have since found and went to somebody else to process my return. It was done in a matter of hours, explained in detail also and the bill was even LOWER and I won’t lose additional financial benefits that as a single mom have a major impact. CRA has already done the assessment and I actually did get a return back versus the hundreds of dollars this company stated I owed. The way they were attempting to process my return would have had major financial impact going forward. Please be very careful when using this company and question everything they do.
