Had Bogo breakfast here. Be prepared for American size of meals. Fresh and tasty.
I'm really disheartened to realize this place was so ick. I visit this hotel often and it'd be nice to have something to look forward to when going. Like an affordable good plate of food. There wasn't anything gross with the food but the plates were very small for the prices they were going for. The service was bad in the sense they weren't coming back to ask how things were, we had to keep asking for things. They were not thoughtful and lacked integrity with one another and us as customers. Very cold vibe here. Felt uncomfortable. I will say the 2 stars are for the yam fries, even though my mom had to ask for sauce. Chicken and cook were cooked too my liking and I think one of the waitresses was kind at one point. I would not recommend this place. And won't be going back.
Absolutely disgusting, do not eat here at all costs. 1. I received a coffee mug that had brown stains all over it. I asked the blonde server with shoulder length hair if I could get a new mug, instead she stuck her fingers inside the mug, rubbed it with her fingers, and then said "oh it's just coffee and tea stains" and left me with the same stained mug, now with her dirty fingers inside it too. When she returned with the food, I asked again if I could get another mug and then she rolled her eyes, took the mug, but never came back with a new one. I had to ask a different server to finally bring me a mug. 2. As we were drinking our coffee, the same blonde server started collecting our water glasses even though we weren't done our meal. I'm not sure as to why she felt so rushed to deprive us of water when there were no other customers in the restaurant, I don't see how they could have a shortage of water glasses. 3. We wanted to push our tables closer together to chat since we had a slightly larger group, and the same blonde server yelled at us across the restaurant to not move the tables even though there weren't any other customers. Even if that is the policy, there are other ways to communicate that instead of yelling unprofessionally. 4. The vegetables that were served were not only frozen, but they tasted of freezer burn. Unless you enjoy the excitement and danger of eating expired food with dirty cutlery, and having a young blonde lady yell at you as your background atmospheric music, do not eat here. Don Cherry should be embarrassed for having his name associated to the worst restaurant I've ever been to, with servers who will treat you disrespectfully if you are a visible minority.
We stayed at the hotel Friday night and figured it was perfect having a bar downstairs. Worst service I've ever seen took for ever to get drink's and the food wasn't any better. I could understand if it was busy!!! But nobody was in the place.
Ate 3 bites and sent both plates back. Best they could do was a 10% discount and the manager wouldn’t event come out and talk to us himself. Meat was tangy, in both the spaghetti and the pork poutine. Please do not eat here. 50$ for the worst food of your life. Server was sweet and you could tell she was having a tough time with the managers response when she delivered the news. Horrible place and I hope she finds a better work environment.
When we walked in we sat down at a table and waited for the waitress. I had to go and find the waitress. I ordered a tea and had to go find milk for it. Also had to get more ketchup with our meal because they brought us an empty bottle and had to find the staff again. Also staff asked if we wanted our bill even before we were done eating. They could have either just brought it to us or asked when we were done eating. Would not go there again.
Bartender was more interested in playing with tvs then taking our order. Last time i will ever go here . 25 minutes no drink not even an order. Only 5 of us in the entire resteraunt. Pathetic
Food was awesome. Came out in a timely manner. Place was clean. Staff knew the menu. Had breakfast and dinner here
Pizza and wing deal definitely gave my husband food poisoning. Nothing like throwing up for 5 hours in a hotel bathroom.
Never again!! Went to the falls for a nice relaxing getaway. We decided to order some pizza and wings from Don Cherry's because they had an advertised $19.99 for 1 large pizza and a pound of wings. The paper thin pizza we received was dis-gus-ting!!! First of all, is the quality that Don Cherry really approves of??? It was burnt, it was dried out and who makes pizza with cheddar cheese? I dont even know how to make a "crust" that thin, I think the checkered paper was thicker. And the wings, I dont know who told them that their wings were the best in town but they must of been drunk or out of their mind. The wings were slimy, cold, stank of vinegar and not very appealing. We did return everything for a full refund and the level of customer service we received was even worse. I do NOT recommend eating here, -10/5. Don Cherry you should be ashamed to put your name on this.
