Had very negative experience here with a DNR officer on a power trip. We have camped in manu camp grounds over the last 10 years and have never been accused of being to loud until our trip here! I guess if you camp with friends you are profiled as trouble makers before you even get set up! Will not return!! Going to Pilot Knob!!

Hey nice park small rv section electric and water only. Next to river. Lots of trees and shade great picnic area. Probably good fishing when the water is up more.

Shaded, peaceful, quiet, well maintained and clean. Beautiful!!! Fish from the river. These were shot in our campsite. The park also has tent sites and stone cabins to rent.

There is no cell phone service in a quiet park far enough away from all the cards of the world to unplug from it all in the picturesque Des Moines River valley. See the sandstone formations and Native American burial mounds. There are also quiet paved secondary roads in the area perfect for bicycling.

Very nice park that isn't overcrowded and is kept very nice. The trails are in good condition and have some great viewing points along them. Great place to have a picnic.
