Doctor Kavalek is professional. Up until this morning, I felt like my eyes were in excellent hands. And I still do, but man, the support staff in the office is defensive and unprofessional in moments when they should just assure the client that an error they've made should be/will be fixed. Context: I've been on a wait list for eye surgery for four years. When I called for an update this morning, I was questioned as though it was my fault that I have been on a wait-list for four years? I should have badgered them more often? I was told that clearly I had the wrong doctor. I was told that the calls that I have received updating the wait list were fabricated by me. I'm so confused by what I thought would be a simple call this morning. I feel like I deserve an apology for the initial tone of the response of Dr Kavalek's assistant. I'm also frustrated with how long what is clearly an error to their surgery list has taken to come to light.
