Do Good Food

The food at Do Good is so good! Love it! The Jerk Chicken is fall off the bone tender and bursting with flavour. It's spiceeeey! So only order if you can handle spice. Otherwise go with BBQ chicken. The Oxtail is good too, but Jerk Chicken is my favourite. The large is $17 and comes with 2 full legs drumstick and thigh, rice and beans and coleslaw.

Ordered a large jerk chicken and medium oxtail for 2 people. A large would’ve been sufficient. Both were great but definitely preferred the jerk chicken. Location is also very close to Britannia Park. Will be back soon!

Mouthwatering food. I ordered the goat curry highly recommend and the bbq chicken and both were insane. The goat melts in your mouth with such amazing flavours and the bbq has so much sauce it’s so good. The owner I’m assuming is such an amazing soul. You can feel good energy from him. We had a small little talk before I got my food and I wish I could have talked to him all day. You won’t regret coming here but come early as they do sell out quick

Just recently tried this place on a whim looking for something different. This fulfilled all expections and then some. Very interesting experience. Good and sorta strange. Pros: 1. The guy who runs this joint is like a local hero. Everyone who went in for food spoke with him like they were besties. He seems to have some serious frequent buyers who love his food. 2. The food here was tasty and authentic! 3. Big portions for what you pay. Cons: 1. Ordering the food here was a tad bit of a confusing process, to say the least. The man running the business was not clear what we could order and not order. There was basically no menu. You can imagine how that went. I would highly reccomend maybe calling ahead? 2. A bit of a wait for food to be ready but he prepares the food fresh, so it's expected Summary: If you are in a rush, do not come here. At least if you've never ordered before and don't know how the place runs. If you have time and you're looking for a great meal, come here. I'll be checking this place out again, hopefully understanding the ordering process a little better.

Best jerk chicken in Ottawa. I'm from Toronto and now living in Ottawa this is the only west Indian spot I'll come to. I've been to a few here but none hit the spot like do good foodFood: 5/5

We walked in and were met by a very friendly Jamaican man!! The jerk chicken was delicious and spicy! This will be a regular stop for us from now on! We felt like we were in a little local Jamaican takeout place right in Jamaica! You have to go

Best Caribbean take out joint in Ottawa! The owner is amazing and the food is even better! Love getting the oxtail or goat curry platters whenever i'm in the area. TIP: make sure to call in advance to check to see what is still available before heading over there since they sell out fast! Also they only take cash or debit.

The jerk chicken didn't have that sweet taste, but this is just my own preference. The Server was really cool, typical jamaican! Food: 4/5

Food was delicious and plentiful. I had a small goat curry $11, and it was easily enough for dinner. The coleslaw, though, was warm from the curry - I didn’t eat it. Service was quick and friendly. But we went at 5:30 prime dinner time, and there was no chicken curry, no roti, and no plantain left. Server was unmasked! with no plexi - I won’t be going back until post-vaccine.
