I can not say enough about how badly dsbn is run. Not the teacher they are just doing what they can working in the Confines of there job. The principal and vp hide all the horrible things that happen in school by just not doing there job, no paperwork means nothing happened. Teacher and staff have no support and are just trying to do the best they can. Dsbn is a just want a child in a seat so they get paid.

This administration needs to be changed. it is lead by incompetent people who absolutely don't care of a wellbeing of our children and their education. The only thing unfortunately they are interested in is keeping their position, but they are replaceable. They are on those positions for our children not the other way around! Somebody needs to remind them of that and they are also hold accountable for mistakes they have done and they are not above the law and immune to lawsuits even they are the government. This is democratic country based on human rights and the school system should not have egoistic ignorants on the school throne! They cannot be hiding behind "school protocols" and try to always find a way of protecting each other! All you do is protecting your Sunshine list and it is time that legal body look into this organization and regulate in the public interest.

Registered for Adult Learning night school, and the process was a nightmare. The website and phone recording said info was coming in December, it didn't until February. Once you filled out the registration form, there was NO confirmation they received it or anything. They just sent info about logins and next steps on THE DAY the semester started. From there, the temporary password they gave me didn't work, so I called to ask for help, they just told me to reply to the initial email. I did that, and they told me to contact someone else. I contacted them, and they haven't responded to two emails. They have ZERO communication, and seem to just leave you high and dry. Instantly regretting my decision to use DSBN.

I am writing this review to promote and encourage the DSBN, as a whole, in a positive direction . It has been an extremely difficult time period in all our lives whether as a teacher ,student, parent ,administrator or staff-and yes a politician. Our communities have been decimated by this pandemic in so many different and personal ways. There have been many successesWe tend to forget these and failuresWe tend to focus on these. At times, some decisions have been difficult and the journey has been complex. Throughout this , I can say that I have been impressed by how are schools/teachers/staff/administrators and school boards have worked tirelessly to provide our children with the resources needed to enhance their educational journey. It is not a perfect world -There are no perfect solutions. No one is perfect. I can honestly say that our experience as new members of the DSBN community has been excellent and at times inspiring. I could mention names but they know who they are and will just say-"we were only doing the best job we can under the circumstances" You certainly did! So Thank You- We hope to see you in person in September!

You have teachers wearing gloves, who have already yelled at students to stay away from them. As if that’s not somehow traumatizing to them in an already stressful situation. Staff who put a child on a bus list that’s been in the same school since JK, not once ever taken a bus, than proceeded to tell that child they needed to get on the bus as they stood crying saying that’s not right. Male teachers refusing students water or water breaks. Some have taken away mask breaks all together. The list of what has been seen, heard, and shared is currently never ending. The staff you have working would never be kept at any other establishment, and these are the people you’ve hired to be around our children.

No stars. DSBN is a joke and fraud. Website is false advertisement and misleading. Despicable having to fight for resources they say are so readily available. They want your children to thrive. Lies they want everyone to sit down n shut up so all can collect an easy paycheck. Call your superintendents asap. Trustees so on. The struggle continues.

Go back to school you bumbs. You got enough money stop asking for more.

DSBN does a great job accepting and accommodating students. Really excellent efforts during this pandemic event as well. Keep up the good work.

you know "were in this together" when your trying to get your 6 year old brother to focus on doing his school work, while your doing your own school work, WHILE your mom is sitting at her desk trying to do her own job! But don't worry, the wifi is slower than it sounds!

My daughter has two concussions in the last ten months . Our school seems to take this lightly as I have spoken with the principal and ask for help and a buddy to be with her and receive nothing. My daughter receives smart a.. comments from professionals oh were you off from your concussion again. A couple of her teachers were not even spoken to for knowledge of this happening at school This makes my child feel like nobody listens there or really cares for that matter. I have no issues with her doing all her exams but for the principal to say to her that she wouldn't be exempt because it is not fair to the kids that had colds and flu !! WOW A LITTLE DIFFERENT.. Hopefully The District School Board of Niagara get on board and get their principals on board of Concussions and how seriously they really are. My child did not chose this to happen and is a great person and student so may you all have some professionalism when comparing and speaking. Thank you Mary Moore
