My husband and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at the Dish recently. I hadn’t been there for several years because it’s a little bit of a drive for us. We went on the early side for dinner after an art exhibition and were greeted and seated promptly without a reservation. After perusing the menu, I ordered a very nice French Rosé. And then for my entrée I chose the Faroe Island Salmon. It was just delicious!! Grilled perfectly with a bed of yummy creamy corn couscous with pearl onions. The flavors were delicate and so great together. We were so satisfied that dessert wasn’t even an option! Honestly, after that experience I can’t wait to get back there. Beautiful ambiance, great for date night or dinner with friends. There was even a small wedding reception going on in a separate room and our service didn’t suffer because of that. I highly recommend The Dish!!
Top notch restaurant! One of our favorites for sure! Service is always friendly and efficient! The Faroe Island Salmon was perfection! Accompanied by creamed corn and couscous succotash and petite arugula! The perfect bite! Highly recommend!
We there today with my wife... We do not often dine out, but when we do, we try to find nice restaurants, with original menus, and different and/or exotic and/or fine cuisine... This one was such great surprise! We were told only good comments from multiple of our friends, but we did not expect something like this... Really Excellent food, very fresh and very tasty! Really nice and friendly staff! Very good service... We have only great things to say from there! We definitely will be back, and we definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some fine food, original menus, and quite cozy ambience!

Love going to the Dish. Usually get the box lunch which includes a side salad fresh greens soup variety of elevated soups, sandwich, and a dessert last time was a caramel coffee cheesecake all for $13! Almost forgot about the cornbread…so good with a bit of butter!! They have other amazing dishes as well!
We celebrated my birthday for dinner tonight. Even with the limited NYE menu, everyone had something they really enjoyed. Here is my dessert!
Really, I don't get the chance very often being 50 plus years old, but, I had the best Filet Mignon of my life, by far at that! Flavor, tenderness, presentation, size or any other category I could think of all being a 10 plus! Combine this best of best cut of meat with other items, and I have a meal embedded into my memory bank for life! Unfortunately, the meal was somewhat somber, due to the fact it was in memory of my Aunt Pat who had recently passed away. Thank you Aunt Pat, and to the ownership of the establishment for the great meal! Oh, I don't want to neglect the staff, awesome, I asked for a coffee due to a migraine, the server dropped what they were doing, and the coffee was there pronto, and migraine abolished within a few minutes! It had been five years since I had last eaten at Dish Restaurant, but my family and I ate lunch there today. This restaurant is under different ownership now, and has been renovated inside. The ambiance is still the same and the food is excellent. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to eat!
We had lunch here; the box lunch for me, and the Thai shrimp with coconut rice for my companion. Both were excellent, service was very good. The cornbread is the best I have ever had. The only reason for one star off is the bathrooms smell musty and prices for other than the box lunch are rather expensive.
Nice place on the inside but we sat for quite awhile looking and choosing from the menu. When we were ready and the server came to take our order I was told the dish I chose isn't available because it's coming off the menu. As I'm looking to see what else I'd like she proceeds to tell me several other menu items that are also not available for the same reason. Why we were not told this when handed menus and the feature items menu and then the server stood there waiting for me to choose another item when I had just spent 15 minutes figuring out the one item that I did want. The food came and I was once again disappointed. I ended up going with the crab cakes that were absolute complete mush on the inside. I am used to having a crab cake that has some body to it meaning you can kind of see what's on the inside including filler items because we all know crab cakes don't have just crab in them. Sorry to use such a harsh word but mine were disgusting. My sister-in-law was also not happy with her dish including her soup. For scallops were overcooked and they were served on cold cauliflower mash which did not specify that on the menu. Not a good first impression on our first visit.
