Do not reserve vehicles online! I rented a car once everything was perfect , I just went in without reservation and they had cars available so I got one , I guess that was my lucky day,everything went smoothly. Another time I reserved a vehicle online 5 DAYS in advance and when I showed up at the shop the clerk tells me that the vehicle I reserved was not available at the moment (parking lot was empty as well ) they were nice enough to give me a ride home at least ,but my day was TOTALLY screwed ! I rented cars in Europe before with other companies reserving online and IF this would happen they would provide a better vehicle right away for me for the same price.I would think twice before renting here next time .

I would rate this zero stars if I could. I reserved a cube truck to move my boyfriend and I out of our one bedroom two weeks before I had to move and you know no phone call or anything so I assume that everything is all good. I get a call 18 hour before I am supposed to pick it up saying that they don't have it and that they tired really hard to get one. Ok so then don't let people make a reservation becuase 6 other people were in the same situation as I was. Ended up scrambling to get a truck with Dino's auto on Innes and they were lovely and saved my ass and it was cheaper.

Twice we tried to rent a mini van. Twice they took the reservation. Both instances we were notified the day of that they couldn't get a mini van. Then because we would be getting an SUV, we'd need to put a $500 deposit for 2 days. Staff were just really rude and speaking over me on the phone. Specifically I think his name was Joel. I cancelled my van reservation which they wanted to give an suv instead and just went down the street to Enterprise. They made up for the terrible customer service both times. They say it happens way too often.

Absolutely Horror Story rented a cargo van after using it during the day went to put gas in the van wouldn't start the location we rented it from in Orleans was closed so we call them a number they transferred us over 10 times then told us that Ford had to come because it wasn't their responsibility they do not offer roadside assistance so you're pretty much on your own with no help from them whatsoever the only answer they could give me was sorry I work for the reservation center I'm not able to help you do not rent a van from there it was an absolute nightmare will never be renting again from them which is very unfortunate because we rented many times in the past they are not understanding when you're stuck in front of a gas pump at a gas station you are blocking other cars from being able to access the gas pump and they tell you that it's not their problem and worst of all they only have one location and all of Ottawa that was still open they had to dispatch someone from that location to come down to Orleans and at that point no one knows what to do because the van won't start I strongly recommend that discount works on their customer service and the Roadside Assistance programs because for the price that they charge for rentals it's not acceptable at all and I will make sure to let everyone know not to rent from you guys absolutely horrid I can't believe how disrespectful the employees are and how not carrying their about the whole situation when you're stuck somewhere with a vehicle that doesn't belong to you and they tell you that it's your problem how does that make sense I am definitely going to contact head office on Monday and ensure that they fix their policies so that this doesn't happen to anyone else
