The restaurant used to be called curdz I believe. I asked and they just rebranded the band to disco brgr which doesn't sound any better. The menu is exactly the same as before but they've added burgers to it. It's very pricy, 30%higher than new york fries. I don't like the name. I don't like the branding. I don't like spending 13 dollars on fries and a drink. I won't be returning. There are better alternatives in walking distance. . Do yourself the favor.
Not sure why that one dude said it was the worst burger he ever had. I had the Staying Alive burger with fries and a drink. Came to $12 total, more food than I could eat in one sitting. Burger was well seasoned, toppings were fresh, fries were good. Polite, friendly service in a clean environment. Will be heading back soon and often!
This is JUST like Spuds. They have the exact same decor. They just added burgers. They have a few different gravies like spuds. They even have the gluten free vegetarian mushroom gravy that Spuds had. Unfortunately, the fries were not crispy enough. They almost felt not deepfried . Had a gyro burger. Very tasty with mayo.
Somehow my burger was undercooked and overcooked at the same time. Dry dry burgers that smelt funny and tasted worse. Couldn't eat it, waste of money. Gravy from poutine wasn't terrible but lacked salt. Overall disgusting burgers, don't eat here.
Burger was way over cooked. It was hard and tasteless. Bacon is crumbled, not in strips which gave a very weird texture. The poutine was good, but ended up throwing the burger away. Won't order from here again.
Good poutine, but was definitely better when it was spuds and the previous owner. The gravy changed with new ownership changing the taste. Overall, it's not too bad definitely above average poutine.
Went back because I was told the experience I had with the food wasn't typical. Stood in line with my friends and waited. And waited. And waited. The staff promptly ignored us. Another customer came up and cut the line to place an order. Even after this happened we continued to wait. Finally one of the guys looks up and asks if we've ordered. We placed the order and took it home. The extras I was charged for weren't there. It was terrible customer service. How difficult is it to acknowledge a customer?
Not the best poutine in town but not the worst either. The quality and quantity seems to have suffered a little since the one partner bought out the other and changed the name to Disco Brgr.
The employees are a hoot! Truly enjoyed the food and service, juicy burger and don’t even get me started on the poutines, they’re THE BOMB! Best I’ve had in the south end yet.
The burgers are delicious and made to order. They also make salads from scratch and they are so good. It's a weekly treat in our home.
