This place is great if you have children. There is a swimming pool when you first come in that is normally filled with children, but it's adult only swim for the last hour (although it's normally colder by then). There are fenced in areas for dogs close to the pool as well. If you feel like adventuring, there is a creek to swim in and some great rock formations to walk all over. There is also go-karting and mini-golf nearby. The same place offers helicopter rides, but I didn't find it worth my money.

While bugs and weather are uncontrollable factors park security could use some work on their people skills. A senior aged woman (staff) had stopped to ask us to remove a vehicle from one of our sites as there were 2 on 1 site. We had a 2nd trailer coming in as she was informing us of our wrong. 15 minutes later she returned to suggest that she follow along in her cart to return the woman whose car was still there. All the while we were quite busy trying to cook food in a wind storm for the 6 children that we had between the 2 side by side sites. (It was now 7pm and kids needed to eat) The woman whose car was in question was helping her husband hook up their trailer and no one was yet available to complete the task that we had very much agreed to. At that point the "security guard" began to admonish a 9 year old for hitting a 40 foot tall tree with a stick. Had it been one of my children she would have gotten an earful from an adult. Anyone put in a position with that much authority needs to be able to better read a situation and understand that busily working adults who have already agreed to a task will get to it as soon as time allows. Very unlikely to ever stay again.

Stayed here July 2017. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the park and sites. We had to move as soon as we checked into our first spot as there was no way we could level the motorhome without the front wheel about a foot off the ground. Small pool was packed with kids, but given the incredible hot weather it was no surprise. Access to the park is convenient, as was the navigation to our site. Depending on the section of the park you are in, sites can be totally exposed to sun throughout the day. Electricity was hit and miss with a couple of lengthy brownouts. The river is nearby, however there is only a small access point to enjoy it by. We stayed in a Motorhome.

Pros: Friendly staff, great family atmosphere, nice view, family activities Cons: Hard to tell which site was ours until after our tent was set up and then we had to move as we didn't realize they were angled (tenting sites had faded orange spray paint on the dirt), very loud partying in the group camping section past midnight was not dealt with by "security". We tried to flag down a golf cart many times and were ignored. We drove our kids in laps around the resort at midnight to get them to fall asleep and then carried them to the tent because it was the only way to get them to sleep. The other night was no issue getting them to sleep (no partiers). I'm not happy about that because we try very hard to keep our kids happy and quiet for the peace and quiet of others in the evening. This was our second trip to the campground.

Stayed at a tenting site. Narrow site but soft ground for pegs. Staff were friendly. They will deliver wood or you can bring your own. Outdoor pool is nice but they showers for the pool are ice cold. Other showers are paid. Not wheelchair friendly. Some bathrooms only accessible by stairs. No gender neutral our family washrooms.
