Do you remember growing up that great little restaurant or fast food place where you could get a great meal at a great price and the food actually was very good? DiLeo's does not dissappoint. I usually come here for the specials and every time, the food is very very good and has great portions. I always receive friendly service and if I have a wait, they even offer a free soup sample. Some places forget how to treat customers but DiLeo's is old school, old world tradition. I complement the owners. If you dine in, you will find a very clean dining experience. I was actually coming to pick up an order today and a group was just leaving. They staff came out right after they left and made sure the table was ready for the next customers. You can tell this is a family business. They take care of their place, they take care of their customers and the food is excellent!
Dileo's is amazing! The staff, the food, and the service is always great! In all the years of going here, the food is always consistent. All of my parties are always catered from here. The food is always ready on time, and great. My grandma loved this food for her birthday, and we still continue the tradition in her honor. I can not tell you enough, how great this food is. You must try it for yourself. The Annemarie pizza is always a must have. The tossed salad, and garlic bread are my favorite. My husband loves the Italian beef. The mostacciolli is so good. The boasted chicken is always the star of the show!
I should've taken a picture of my patty melt but it was so good that I never had a chance! Seriously. Highly recommend this local family owned spot. Great for catering, too!
This place is tremendous! I had it for the first time today. The value I got for $6 is pretty incredible. Huge slice and a drink, can’t beat it. I may need to drive from Woodridge to pickup a whole pie!
Ordered from Dileoa a few times. Enjoying the Papa Ds pizza, i. e. Italian beef and giardiniera. This time I couldn’t continue, there was a hair in the pie. I called and talked to Theresa, who assured me that it’s a bristle from an oven brush. It sure doesn’t look like one. I have texted her a picture of the “hair”. I await an answer and picture of this brush. I hope that I am wrong so I can edit my review. We will see... Here’s the picture of the brush. I’m skeptical, but Theresa is refunding me the cost of the pizza. So I’ll add a start for service.
I come here a couple times per week for lunch and they never disappoint. Great service great food. Their pasta is delicious.
First time trying this spot...our corporate office recently moved in to the Elmhurst area and me and another co-worker wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Jumbo sausage slice...basically a large piece of pizza cut into 3 or 4 smaller slices. Did not hit the spot....Pizza was bland and dry, just complete lack of flavor. Maybe the other food is good, but Pizza was very disappointing....maybe will give another shot with other menu items.
I gave them a try for the first time based off the name and yummy looking menu and they did NOT disappoint! Really fresh, piping hot, and delicious. Had a really rough day today in the hospital and this made it better, thank you DiLeos!
I placed an online order for a pan pizza. After placing the order, I got a notification saying my order would be ready in 15 to 20 min. I arrived at the store 20 min later and provided my name to the young woman at the counter. Another young man came out from the back and asked what did I order, which I thought was unusual. The cook then shouted out from the back that my pizza will take 20 min to bake, which seems like they didn't even cook my pizza until I got there. So, I had to sit and wait for almost 40 minutes inside of the hot restaurant. The young girl came out with my pizza and just handed it to me without even a thank you or apology for my long wait time. On top of that, the pizza wasn't all that good and I ended up throwing it away. Poor customer service and bad attitudes at this place. I will never order from here again.
Third time ordering food here, each time it is not ready at the time they said it would be. This time it wasn't ready, not even started yet AND the guy working there decides to yell me, because "Terri" didn't come yet and he is so busy, he has no cashier, everyone is coming late. I guess it's all my fault. How dare I order food at a restaurant. To make it even better, the yeller is also yelling about a delivery that wasn't accurate "I don't understand what's wrong with these people, I ordered certain things and they don't get it right, what's wrong with them". The irony escaped him completely. The food itself is usually good but the service is ridiculous, they are ALWAYS running behind, food is NEVER ready on time and they ALWAYS have an attitude about it. This was my last visit, never again.
