This is my second visit to this establishment, and I absolutely love it! I tend to enjoy my sides so quickly that I forget to take a picture, but I highly recommend the baked beans and potato salad. I ordered the two-meat tray, and it certainly did not disappoint! Just look at how tender the meat is! I will definitely continue to return and bring my family when they come to visit!
Very cool place. Lots of stuff to look at and an awesome menu. Lots of different choices and things. I had the 3 meat plate with Chicken, Burnt ends and brisket. Sides were Mac and cheese and baked beans. My bud had the same but with sausage and fries and sweet corn. I would say the best meat was the chicken, and the best side was the beans. ALL the other meats were amazing, but the chicken hit perfect. The sweet corn was okay, the Mac and cheese was also just okay. I was surprised to know at a BBQ house there was no corn bread. Maybe just the southern BBQ places for that?! Fountain pop with all you can drink.
Abit odd having the menu at the end of the run rather than the beginning but ordered the brisket sandwich with potato salad. Never gave me the option for the size of drink, didn't ask me about the pickles or onions which I didn't realize till I looked on the site, also at a buck each. Total was $21 which is a little steep for a quick lunch. The service was really quick. The meat was good, no problems there, but wish their was more to it then just shredded meat and cheese on a bun. The salad was a little tough, almost like the potatoes were a little undercooked. The sauce was tasty but I swear I've had it before.nOverall not bad of a meal other then the hefty price tag.
I really cannot sing their praises enough. The food is always fantastic, the fries are always seasoned perfectly. My husband insists on eating brisket sandwiches although he does not like fat, that being said the people there are so sweet they always try and give him the leanest sandwich possible.nnThe staff are clearly trained very well, always very kind.
We tried the brisket here and it’s not bad, but not amazing. It wasn’t dry but was a bit bland for my taste. The hot sauce just tastes like Frank’s red hot. I think you can find better barbecue in Edmonton.
