Aside from the place being a complete dump, the old guy taking the order was very rude. They charge you an extra 4% to use a credit/debit card which is ridiculous, and they won't take checks. So basically either have cash or be prepared to pay extra for food that based on the appearance of inside, you're better off not eating anyway.
Solid little burgers, fries, and ice cream shop. There is no indoor seating but there are several picnic tables out back. Guests order inside, pick up their food, and carry it out. Credit cards are accepted. Prices and quality were about what I'd expect for a place like this. My bacon double cheeseburger and fries were tasty. Portion size on the fries seemed slightly light for medium. I also had a medium chocolate shake and this was larger than I expected... So I suppose it all evens out = If it's a beautiful day and you feel like stopping for a classic burger, fries, and a shake/soft serve ice cream you probably won't be disappointed by Dick's Drive-In.
Classic family favorite for sure! Burgers and all the sides, they make their own root beer and it's amazing. Great ice cream options too. My family loves the banana splits, malts, and my personal favorite has got to the Twist in a Dish with Twinkles. It's a seasonal drive in which makes it all the more special because you know you can't get it all year round!
Such a cute little drive in diner!! You would be hard pressed to find a place where you could get such a tasty meal at this cost! 2 large burgers, large fry, and two waters for $13. I don't even think you can get that at McDonald's anymore. Great service and a wonderful locally owned establishment. I also enjoy their soft serve sundaes.
First visit and impressed. Friendly staff and great inexpensive food! Double cheeseburger was great and perfect size. I don't know why anyone would go to McDonald's down the road. We will return.
Not from the area. Decided to stop for some lunch at this cute little roadside Drive-In. Quite busy when we arrived but the line moved at a decent space considering all the people maybe 3 workers were serving. Pleasantly surprised by the prices! Really feels like an old school ice cream & burger stand. The fries were fresh and crunchy. Burgers were yummy and had gooey cheese. Great portions for the price. And the shakes are yummy. Good place to stop for an ice cream treat on a hot day or a good burger and fries to fill up your stomach. Outdoor seating available
Stopped in on a whim looking for a fast bite to eat that was not typical fast food. Very nice old school small town feel and food was great. All 4 in my group were very happy
We were driving through town and saw the sign. So glad we stopped. The burgers were very good the cheese was perfectly melted. Thin crispy fries were hot and not to salty. The line was out the door and orders came out quickly. Will stop again if we are in the area.
Great food, good serving size, reasonable prices, and service with a smile; not at all surprising that it's been around since 1955 :
Allowed me to call ahead for a large order for a birthday party! It was very appreciated!Food: 5/5
