I had the pleasure of visiting Diana Lake Lodge in August 2021 on a yoga retreat. It is a breathtaking setting and a trip I will remember forever. I can't say enough about Amanda, the lovely lady who hosted us. She went above & beyond to make sure everyone in our group was well taken care of. She made us laugh, kept us comfortable and served the most delicious mountain meals I have ever enjoyed. Highly recommended!!
Amanda is amazing. The whole Diana Lake Lodge team really goes above and beyond to accommodate and assist those who stay with them. It's more than just a great place to stay, it's genuine connection with great people. I run hiking trips for beginners and I have been so impressed with the way this team shows up with their guests. Will definitely be back and recommending to everyone I speak to!
This was a little piece of heaven on earth. We didn’t know about Diana Lake Lodge until a few weeks before we booked it! It is definitely a hidden gem worth taking a night or two at. Make sure you hike The Judge and go during Larch season if you can. Amanda, the caretaker was tons of fun and helped us with whatever we needed. It was such a treat to get to meet Pat and Mike and Riven. They really treated us like gold and cooked us the best dinner! Thanks for celebrating my birthday! We will be back!
Our hike to Diana Lake yesterday was stunning! Much of the hike is through meadows with gorgeous views. The trails have good footing. There is enormous avalanche debris which has been cleared from the trails. Reaching the Lodge and Teahouse was the real treat! Amanda, our hostess, took wonderful care of us. Her special grilled cheese sandwich and mushroom soup really hit the spot! We will definitely be back to stay overnight and to summit “The Judge”. We highly recommend this beautiful hike, great for families!
A jewel in the rough. We spent 3 days of ski touring that didn’t come close to touching the vast amount of skiing that is to be had at Diana Lake Lodge. This is a ski mountaineer’s paradise with The Judge offering up his north facing bowl and his west robes, along with Mount Norman’s couloirs. As well as the great skiing, the hospitality is of the finest. Diana Lake Lodge is a must visit.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, beer !, and great people at the lodge. We were camping at the nearby campground and went to the lodge regularly for respite. Amanda went out of her way to help us and always made us feel welcome. My family will be back for sure, but this time staying in the cozy and comfortable lodge.
Family trip with 6 adults and 6 kids ages 8-12. Lodge was cozy but clean warm and dry, great new kitchen. Had enough room for everyone. Tremendously accessible day hiking in great meadows each day. We spent three full days doing day trips from the lodge. Very much enjoyed the hot shower at that elevation. Fantastic setting and really a place to go a relax!
We had a great weekend at Diana Lake Lodge in July 2017. We were able to hike in with just day packs. We were amazed by the avalanche debris with hundreds of glacier lilies poking thru. Thank you for clearing the path for us. We arrived to beautiful Diana Lake which still had ice in it as did the nearby tarn. We were treated to nachos and dinner that night. The next day after breakfast was prepared for us and we packed our lunches, we summited The Judge and then hiked Fossil Ridge with breathtaking wildflowers. A long day and then back to a warm outside shower, potstickers and dinner. The new outhouse is very nice and the scenery is spectacular. Thank you for a memorable weekend.
Aug 1st my husband, my brother, his girlfriend, and I hiked up here to a celebrate our anniversary and b for my brother to propose to his girlfriend. I knew this day was going to be spectacular but the woman working in the tea house made it so much better. Not only did she put our champagne on ice AND polish our glasses we brought up, but she made excellent food, set up the champagne for us to enjoy after my brothers GF said "yes" and was SO friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that I didn't get to keep the white dog that they had. Cheers. And thankyou.
Our hostess was simply fabulous and the lodge is absolutely charming. We were just on a dayhike so stopped in for tea & coffee, but would love to stay overnight. The hike is one of the best in the Rockies.Service: 5/5
