Diamond Travel has been in business for over 15 years and it is a well trusted Travel Agency. Clients come from all over the world.

In reply to the first comment and for further information to clients looking for travel agency services, when you buy the ticket and pay for it, normally nobody should take your seat but some special cases exist. If a change must occur and the seat must be given to someone else, the travel agency should be notified and a travel agent should notify the client about the change. If the travel agency is not notified about the change, they are not responsible for going back to check a ticket they sold 8 months earlier to make sure whether or not the seat is still available for that person. I understand your disappointment but since you bought the ticket 8 months earlier, you should have followed up at least two months before your flight. The travel agency could have sold hundreds of tickets in that long period of time. They wouldn't remember yours!

As for missing your plane, it is not the travel agency's fault that you arrived late to the airport. You should have checked the weather the day before and made arrangements so that you wouldn't miss your flight. They should have notified you though that your ticket was non-refundable although the information would be written clearly on your ticket.  

For future clients, I advice you to ask all sorts of questions to the travel agent before you buy your tickets. Questions to ask: 

- If the ticket is fully-refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable and in what situations
- What are the penalties if you do not show on time or if you want to cancel the ticket
- If cancellation or change of flight is possible, how many days before the flight it should be done 
- How many bags are you allowed to take. What is the allowed weight of the bag. What's considered a handbag. Remember that if you take more than the allowed number of bags or go above the allowed weight, you will be charged an extra fee
- What would happen in case the flight was delayed and you miss your second flight

While the travel agency should provide you with such information, it is your responsibility to make sure that you get all the information you need. Remember in every travel agency there are more than one travel agent. Some of them are more experienced than others. Some of them would give you all the information you need to know without having you ask, others won't. You can't blame the whole travel agency for that. If you have a problem with a certain travel agent, call the agency and ask for the manager or the owner. Speak to them and let them know about your concerns. 

If you buy a ticket months earlier than your flight, make sure that you follow up at least once every 2 months. 

One last thing I would like to mention, some people may try to sell you tickets under the name of a well-known agency and tell you that they can get you a cheaper price but you should not let anyone at the agency know about it. Never be fooled by such claims. It is called fraud. They take your money and run away and send your passports back to you in the mail. Shall you meet such a person or group, call the travel agency's number and report it immediately. 
There are travel agents who work with an agency with from home. I advise you to call the travel agency and make sure that this agent really works at that agency. When you buy the ticket from them, I advise you to call again and make sure that the office knows about the transaction and that it is legit. Always get the name of the travel agent and it is best if you see their ID to make sure they are not using a fake name.
