Diamond Centre Pharmacy is a community pharmacy in Warman, Saskatchewan. It is a 5000 sq ft pharmacy that is attached to GAMA Integrated Medical Clinic, with whom the pharmacists and physicians work closely together in a collaborative health care practice

There are several reasons why this page has been created. There is only 1 reason why it took so long, and I'm sure you can all guess what that reason is :) Had I started a couple years ago, this page would be full of pictures, milestones, programs we offer, and achievements/ goals we have reached as well as those we hope to reach.

I had worked as a pharmacist for several other companies prior to opening in Warman. Under what I considered restrictions of corporate entities (to be kind), I never felt that I could practice my profession the way I felt it should be practiced. Therefore, I decided that I needed to open my own pharmacy and try to create a venue that the community could fully trust; where they truly felt that they were always welcome, and they knew that the professional staff would go over and above to ensure the health and well being of themselves and their families. I think the 1st goal I set was "I want to create an atmosphere where people call this pharmacy 'their pharmacy'. An example would be if someone is in Saskatoon or another place and a friend would say "let's stop at this (any other) pharmacy", and anyone from our community would respond, "I will pick it up at our (or my) pharmacy when I get home." To me, that was my 1st measure of success; to be a staple in the community. With the excellent physicians at GAMA, the incredible pharmacists who choose to practice at Diamond Centre, and the A+++ techs, management, and retail staff, I think we have achieved the goal of being a trusted, well respected, helpful and caring part of this community.

We opened in may of 2009 in Warman, SK, which had a population of approx 3500 people, with another 3500 in neighbouring Martensville, and some smaller communities such as Osler, Dalmeny, Langham, and a few others. Since that time (now 2013), Warman and Martensville have eclipsed the 8500 mark while the surrounding communities have grown substantially as well. We have grown as well.

We currently offer a solid inventory of mobile supports, incontinence supplies, athletic and orthopedic supports, bathroom safety products, 1st Aid, compression stockings (some very stylish types, not just the black, blue, brown :) ), Hopefully, in time, we will be able to expand the pharmacy to include a larger section of home health products such as ostomy supplies, which would be a very nice addition to enable us to provide other unique health care products to our community.

Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality healthcare, health information, and health awareness for our patients and our community by implementing a multidisciplinary, collaborative team practice in the community where the physicians, pharmacists, and patients/ patients families work together to attain optimal health outcomes.
