Dhaliwal’s lounge provided a decent dining experience overall. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a good variety of traditional Indian dishes, and the flavors were satisfactory. However, some dishes lacked the authentic spice and depth that I was expecting. While it was an enjoyable meal, I believe there is room for improvement to truly capture the essence of Indian cuisine.

It was one of my best experiences of authentic Indian food. I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is my favourite so far. The presentation and deliciousness is out of this world and the whole vibe was so amazing. Scallops were my favourite appetizer. Would absolutely go again next time I am in the neighbourhood.

A place with good ambience and a somewhat smaller menu. The restaurant is clean and the food arrived promptly for dine in. The appetizers featured interesting fusion takes pictured is the chili-brie stuffed mushroom. I appreciate them adventuring and trying out unorthodox shakes as well e.g. pictured gulab jamun badam shake and rasmalai mango shake. The main course left much to be desired though. The dishes were traditional Indian but did not have the sophistication that I'd expect this type of restaurant to command. The Malai kofta and garlic naan were just alright. They have good deals running for appetizers and happy hour though, so definitely worth checking this place out.

PALAK PATTA CHAAT $13.95 Crunchy baby spinach with chopped onion, potato peas topped with yogurt, green and red chutney. DAYUMM this was the star of the show! It was cold, crispy, sweet, spicy, and a lil zesty. Every bite was a packed full of flavour! If I were to come back I might even order two of these = 10/10 MIX VEGETABLES $14.95 Seasonal vegetables cooked with spices with a cream sauce. This was good, good variety of vegetables, sauce was a lil smokey. It was good, but not amazing 8.6/10 KUKKAD MAKHNI Butter Chicken $18.95 Boneless chicken, cooked in garlic, ginger and cream. VERY good! I love how they used grilled chicken thighs which were nice and juicy as opposed to other places where they use dry chunks of chicken breast. Sauce was pretty good! 9/10

Review: Hidden Gem in Surrey Being from Seattle, I love exploring new spots whenever I'm in Canada. This restaurant pleasantly surprised me during my recent visit. The food was deliciously spiced, and the service was quick and attentive. The lounge ambiance added a much-needed touch to Surrey. I can't wait to come back on a late weekend night to fully experience the vibrant atmosphere. The food, service, and inviting ambiance make it a special destination, whether you're looking for a casual lunch or an exciting evening out.

We were blown away by this place. Went here on a Saturday at around 9.30 PM and it wasn’t crowded. The ambience is great with dull lighting. The food is too good. They had buy 1 get 1 on appetizers and it was worth it. Appetizers: We tried the BARWA PANEER ARANCINI which was like Paneer Stuffed balls. Extremely delicious. With that we had the PALAK PATTA CHAAT which was friend spinach leaves with chickpeas and chutneys. Very fresh and light filling. Mains - We tried DAL BUKHARA and RARA PANEER MASALA. The Paneer curry was similar to Paneer Bhurji Scrambled and it tasted well. But the best thing was the Dal Bukhara. Overnight Slowly cooked lentils which had so many flavors in it. All of the mains went well with Naan & Roti. Our server Vanya was very sweet, friendly and took good care of us.

Food is great. I would recommend this place for decent Indian food. Soya kabab is my favourite now. Malai kofta was also good. They give complimentary dal makhni with chicken. I ordered Bellini and it was amazing but I couldn’t taste 2oz alcohol anywhere. My friend orders Daiquiri but the quantity was too less. The service is ok. Actually we went there around 10pm, it wasn’t even busy. The server was not happy and welcoming. It was more than one hour before closing but still you can’t be rude to customers. Least you can do is smile.

Delicious food and excellent ambiance here. The service was great. They had a buy one get one free deal on appetizers which was awesome. The sufiani murg tikka is a must try and barwa paneer arancini was great as well. The kheema portions was huge. Their menu cards looked old and worn out.Food: 5/5

My 2nd visit at Dhaliwal Lounge with in 1 week. This beautifully decorated place has great ambiance, really good food with great service. Best hospitality I have seen here. Tandoori Fish Tikka was well marinated and cooked to its perfection. Lamb chops was my another favorite dish at this place. The bar tender "Palk" knows well that this is a hospitality business. Thanks to Palk for the great service and good food recommendations. Mr. Rasheel, the manager is very friendly and keeping the place in good shape. Good job guys. Will definitely drive 2 hours again for the great food and great people. Vegetarian options: They have lots of good vegetarian choices. Parking: Lots of open parking spaces. Pretty safe area.

Edit: my mom was craving Indian food and so she went by Uber to get a tandoori roti and chicken curry and came back. Both dishes were disaster. The rotis were so bad that they appeared stale. The chicken was black in color and completely overcooked. I was not in country and had to rely on Uber spend extra money and it turned out to be completely unacceptable. Avoid this place for takeouts. They may serve you stale and bad food. One of the newest places I found via Instagram ads. It’s new but needs a good management in place. A lot of staff is new and doesn’t have experience in hospitality industry. Food was good and drinks were good too. I will visit again.
