DeWolf Tavern serves Contemporary American Cuisine in a beautifully situated, historically renovated stone warehouse, located on the Thames Street Landing waterfront in the heart of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. Our guests can enjoy the bay breeze with cooling cocktails on our casual patio, dip inside for a glass of wine and a light meal in our downstairs tavern or head upstairs to enjoy the view and fireplace with a bottle of fine wine and a special meal prepared by Chef Sai. And this summer, executive dining is always perfect on our waterfront tented deck or private dining rooms with the view of the harbor

My husband and I dined here several evenings, staying at the Bristol Harbor Inn for a winter vacation. The food as always outstanding, and so too was the service. We indulged in different meals, from the generously stuffer lobster popover to salads. Nothing, really nothing could be criticized. The hostess always asked where our preference was seating and once reserved an upstairs table for us, promptly confirmed via text message. We want to return!

Went with siblings for a lovely dinner and DeWolf did not disappoint. The hostess was very welcoming and offered a variety of seating options. We chose downstairs. Two ordered the prix fixe 3 course dinner and I had the Oyster Po-boy as I am a light eater. The Bronzini fish entree was outstanding. A whole fish (minus head and tail). Broiled to perfection with moist meaty white fish and crispy skin, with lots of capers and basmati rice. Outstanding. Sis loved her thick​ pasta with large meatballs ( a blend of beef, veal and pork). My sandwich was just what I wanted. Our server (wish I caught her name) was attentive, kind, sweet and responsive to questions and requests. It was a special night for us as I am visiting from out of state. We lingered, never felt rushed. Delightful.

Definitely a fancy restaurant. Very pleased with the food however, if you're looking for this kind of atmosphere this might be your go to.

Hi Sai! I hope this review finds you. Last night we celebrated my dad John Rego’s 75th birthday party. You and your staff went above and beyond with our party of over 18. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was gorgeous. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a unique and cozy setting.

Food was good but the service has been consistently poor the last few times we've been. Today went their for brunch. Waitress hid in the kitchen. Had to get manager to get refills on coffee and drinks. We were there over an hour before food came.
