The best time to visit is deffinetely when the temp is negative and icicles have formed from our experience and other reviews. Not worth the $7.50 parking as not much to do. Can spend about half hour walking about. Nice scenery and ample parking.
$7.50 to park and walk around for 15-30 min is pretty steep but fine to do once for this neat feature. Might return in the summer for a different perspective. More maintenance is needed to trees which obstruct much of the views now. And would be much nicer on a clear day.
Very slippy underfoot if proper footwear is not used during the winter. Stunning waterfall.
Beautiful view. Probably better in the spring and summer because the trail down is open. Across the street is the Dofasco trail. Also very nice to walk, bike, snow shoe or cross country skiing
Though there is no waterfall at this season, it’s still an amazing place to visit, especially if you are interested in geology, also nice trail for kids. There is a farm market nearby, we stopped there, attracting by its interesting ads. Cakes taste so good. — also a must stop site.
