Visited the place with family on Saturday afternoon. The place is very nice and there are lots of activities for kids on full stretch from Burlington Beach to Confederation park. It is nice garden won lake side for fun. You can enjoy picnic with family or beach side. The beach is not with sand but have stones. But water is clean and you can swim and enjoy it. Kids will have fun. The best thing is there is plenty of parking space and toilets are super clean. Kudos to park staff. There is currently no entrance fee for the park. However, one should go early as it can be full in the afternoon. Also plan in advance as there are so many activities to do.
Park is pretty good with lots of picnic tables and nice play structure. BBQ is not allowed in park. Washroom are good. Washroom has separate area to clean beach sand . Bring food and enjoy rest of the day at park and beach . Long cycle track and parking is free and plenty.
I lived by the water in Stoney Creek for years and walked to this park every day. Beautiful walkways, a lot of space, very well taken care of and a lot of parking in some areas.
Sunday funday with my girls : Excellent and very relaxing beach to walk around with cool people that I have. Not that typical crowded for a Sunday afternoon. A lot of picnic table available. No portable bbq allowed posted at the main entrance but seems a lot f people are breaking the rules. Overall, we enjoyed the view, quality time and cleanliness of the beach which are well-maintained. Thank you :
Excellent beach to roam around sit back and relax. Ample free parking at various location. There are lot of benches to sit. 2-3 places to eat.
Clear water and clean beach. You can bike, walk and skate in here since the pathway is gravelled and it’s very long. Can rent a bike in here too but it’s $9 per hour and it’s via an app called “SoBi or Social Bicylcles”.
Very clean peaceful beach….washrooms are not very clean though…..there are small slides and swings for kids….very nice trees shade to get away from burning sun….not very crowded even on weekends. Good for cyclists too
One of my favourite places to go with family. You can do the beach, family picnic, BBQ is not allowed though but rest everything else you can do.. nice walk and lake view. There is a restaurant nearby as well. Loads of picnic tables available, ample parking and a clean washroom.
Great place to exercise, walk, cycle, rollerblade. It is peaceful and quiet an awesome picnic spot. There are benches by the waterside where you can just relax and take in the cool lake breeze. The Waterfront Trail goes through the park and you can cycle all the way to Toronto. If you are an avid birdwatcher you would not be disappointed and its gorgeous all year round.
Great area for kids. Such a great park with lots of places to enjoy surrounding it. The park itself has lots to offer, but there are also beaches, a river, lots of bush and trees, open spaces to play games, tables gazebos. A whole day can be spent here just walking around.
