This place is great!! Our 6 year old loves going to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned. She even had to have a cavity fixed and that still hasn’t changed her outlook on Deschutes Pediatric Dentistry. Our son’s first dental appointment was here and they handled it amazing. They were very gentle and promoted going to the dentist to be fun. They are very quick and were able to clean both our kids teeth at the same time. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. 5 Star rating!! Highly recommended!

We had gone to see Dr. Stephanie a few years back before our insurance had changed, and loved her. The staff was wonderful, and we were so happy. Now that we have insurance that Deschutes Pediatric takes again, we were quick to make an appointment for the kiddos to see them. I went in expecting they needed to have sone dental work to be done (which they did, a couple cavities, and we were going to get sealants as well). When I went to the scheduling appointment desk to schedule their next appointment, one of the scheduling ladies (Who's name began with a T, however, I cannot recall if her name was Tracy or Terry, or Trisha....it was something similar), asked if i wanted to come back the next day. I said I'm sorry, but I can't afford to come back tomorrow (after all, I did just pay almost $200 for cleanings, exams, x-rays, fluoride). She then stated, "So you're REALLY going to wait a month to bring your child back in?! I'm just looking out for the well being of your child. you're just going to cause him to be in more pain and discomfort." So first off, my child wasn't IN any pain or discomfort. AT ALL. He has two small pits that they want to address on two molars. The rest, was to PREVENT anything from progressing. She was COMPLETELY out of line in telling me that I am causing my child discomfort and more pain by needing to wait a month so I can afford the $400 plus bill that I would need to pay. I explained to her I get paid once a month, and she persisted to say very snide comments about my child's dental health, stating when I told her I would like to make an apt in the afternoon so my child wouldn't be missing school, "Aren't you at ALL concerned with your child's dental health??" Obviously, yes. Or I wouldn't have brought them into the dentist for routine exams. I was completely appalled at the way I was guilted by this receptionist, and I left the office in tears. No one should have to feel like an inadequate mother simply because she needs a few weeks to come up with such a large chunk of money on top of Christmas being right around the corner. She was incredibly insensitive, very rude, and made me feel like a terrible mother. On top of that, all of this was done not only in front of my children, but in front of other receptionist staff, as well as other clients as well. I honestly don't believe she saw anything wrong with how she spoke to me, and I truly hope she reads this and gets just a glimpse of how words impact others. I left in tears, and will NOT be going back. We have switched dentist offices, although we loved Dr. Stephanie and her husband, their office staff completely ruined chances of us ever coming back to that office. This visit was on November 14, 2017. I sincerely hope this woman learns how to treat others with kindness, compassion, and understanding. No parent should leave feeling the way I felt. My children both asked why she was saying I didn't care about their health, and my daughter (who's 12) said she did not want to go back there. Please T, learn how to treat others.

We LOVE Deschutes Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Christensen has been amazing with all of my “Dentist Shy” kids, and most recently Dr. Ashley was amazing and very patient with my boy who was very nervous to get his teeth filled! Thanks for all you do for our kids! ❤️

Both of my boys love going here Dr Christian and his staff are amazing!! The waiting room even keeps you're kids happy! My younger son had the worst experience at his last dentist. With the staff and Dr Christian they were able to regain my son's trust and show him what a great experience the dentist can be. Now its a loved appointment by all my kids. Thanks guys!! The t.v.s and head phones are a plus. 😊

We LOVE Deschutes Pediatric Dentistry! The staff is always very helpful and friendly. My children see Dr. Ashley and they both love her! I highly recommend them!
