The arrogant little young man in the evening does not reflect the community. I knew the previous owners and they were very involved. The young man worked there in the evening too but I told myself he was tolerable. His character was more or less of a young person but as time goes by, that no longer works for a small business serving the community. I frequent the small corner store much less because of the prices, selection and atmosphere. I would have much liked to continue supporting the previous owners because they were always friendly and we felt good in a community atmosphere.nI had the opportunity to do business with the new owner on a few occasions and she is still friendly and seems to want to invest in her “business”.nIt's always less good in the evening with the young man with whom I have tried several times at least to rediscover a sense of interpersonal skills but to no avail...nI spend my money elsewhere now.nBesides, I understand that the cost of living is increasing but with prices as high as $5 more for drinks doesn't inspire me either. I found the same thing not far away and at an independent non-franchise convenience store for a reasonable price.nIt was a convenience store well appreciated by locals for a long time but now we are seeing renovations and increased prices. In order to penetrate the local economy, he enforces respect for local customers. I am sincerely disappointed. It’s good to change and renovate but you have to invest in the local people. I am not a person who cannot afford it. It's the opposite. I have the means but I am always careful with my expenses and I have often observed local people who depended on the convenience store... in order to help them out...nI have the impression that this is no longer the case.
