It's not a bad place, but I found it slightly more expensive than IHOP but otherwise good. Toas was partially buttered. Eggs are small' not large eggs, I think. Wifes meal was an ommlette and chocolate pancakes. My order was supposed to be an original grand slam. I thought I would have 2+2 eggs 2+2 'bacon and 2 sausage and 2 pancakes. I didn't realize till after I had eaten that I didn't get the sausage, so I checked the menu, and I was right, but whe. I added the 2 eggs and 2 bacon. Apparently, you can only add it once. Didnt know that. I understood I was paying extra for the eggs bacon and toast added. Didn't know I didn't get the regular items because I added the others. Very odd rules. I spoke to the manager and asked that they let customers know the rules if a change modifies something in their order. Just make sure you are getting what you asked for before the order is placed with additions added to the Meal.
Ordered takeout for Denny’s. Took an hour and a half to get to us [we are in airdrie] and then we were given cold, food, small portions. I went into the restaurant where I was told it was the actual portion of the meal. We eat in all the time so that wasn’t true. We spend $64 on this meal, and the portion was the size of a kids meal.
I went to Denny's for "another year old day". Its been couple of years when I did this. So when I asked the waitress, "does Denny's do anything special for someone's birthday? Amanda said, " you can order anything in the menu. We will just deduct the difference from the price of the grand slam of $12.99 Example: ordered $20 Deduct it by 12.99 The difference is what you pay! Sweet right? I had grilled halibut with rice and vegies. It came with Caesar or tossed salad or soup.
Met a friend for breakfast, ordered off the 55+ menu. The waitress was very friendly The restaurant was very clean and well taken care of. We arrived at 10 am was fairly busy, we were seated right away and drink were served immediately. We both ordered the Omelettes, shredded hash browns, whole wheat toast. Our order took no time at all and was nice and hot when it arrived at our table.
Great experience. My mom chose Denny's for her birthday lunch. Eight of us joined her and it was a good time. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. The food was really good. My only suggestion would be to pay a little more attention to the bathrooms. The garbage was spilling out and the actual toilets needed a clean. It was very busy, so I chose to still rate high.
We love going to Denny’s we used to have to drive into Calgary to get our favourite grand slam but now that airdrie has their own restaurant it’s perfect. They have friendly staff our favourite server Ramesh is fast, efficient and very friendly. If you love breakfast definitely a must visit.
What a great meal with a friend! We were seated in a section that wasn’t super busy. My friend & I both received excellent service from our server Tori S. She was great about checking on us to be sure our needs were met. Food was delicious too! Parking: Easy parking!
We’ve been here twice in the past year and both times we’ve had Ramesh as our server. He’s super cool and easy to joke around with, and he gives great service! The first time we were here it was in the midst of a super busy breakfast rush, yet he was always checking up on us and making sure coffee was topped up! As I’m writing this it is our second time being here and it’s for my birthday. We’re waiting for our food which I know will be delicious, and we’re enjoying a nice atmosphere in a cushy booth. Definitely make sure you try the smoothies! Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to be found and there is wide space in between tables. There are plenty of tables and lots of them exist in spaces where there won’t be too many people bustling through.
Went here in a pinch for my boys birthday after a long afternoon. We all ordered our food and my boys liked theirs and I liked mine well enough, but the service was mediocre with only 3 seated tables in the whole restaurant. I asked the server at the end of our meal if they do a birthday thing for my boy who just turned 6 and he said they would do a cheesecake for him. So I said sure. He didn't say it would be full price, or a child's size like basically every family restaurant in existence, and he didn't put a birthday candle in it and it was frozen solid still. I know I shouldn't expect much from a Denny's, but come on! My youngest of 3 and I have always been able to get a tiny little birthday candle put in a desert, sang happy birthday, and usually free. But this was almost $8 for a sub par frozen cheesecake for a 6 year old that I had to cut up for him. Super disappointed in my first visit to Denny's in probably 15-20 years.
Food great as usual and exactly as you’ve come to expect from a diner and Dennys. What makes the visit exceptional however is the continued service of Ramesh. I come to this location specifically for him. His attentiveness to detail each visit, making sure we are provided with what we need, meal suggestions and above all his instinct of when to come to the table and when to leave a customer be in their conversation. It is rare to find employees these days who care as much as he does! A real gem and if I were you, I work to hold on to him! Dietary restrictions: Excellent Keto variations!
