Dells of Eau Claire

Oh my goodness!!! So so beautiful!! Well maintained trails, and wonderful trails along the river. You can go down one side of the falls, follow the river with lots of options to stop and swim, climb rocks, pop up a hammock or just enjoy a nice walk through the woods! If you make it to the bridge, be sure to go upriver to the other side of the falls! Definitely worth the stop! Hardly any bugs at all, and they have primitive bathrooms too!

I went hiking here for the first time this past fall and had a stunning experience. If love nature and beautiful sights, this is right up your alley. The trails are a bit rough in parts, but in my personal opinion that only makes the hike more enjoyable. The views of the Eau Claire River are beautiful, and there's even a spot where you can climb out to the large rocks in the middle of the rapids and view them up close. There's restrooms, a nice little playground for the kiddos nearby, and camping spots available if you choose to camp out. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!

Gorgeous park!! Super well-maintained trails and beautiful grounds. Highly recommend taking the ~1 mile trail that loops around the river. Beautiful woods and waterfalls!

This place should be a solid 5 for it's beauty! Unfortunately many who visit don't appreciate it because they leave trash along the trails and river ranging from used diapers to beverage cans and graffiti! So sad for something so beautiful!

Every bit we stunning. Nice easy hike for the most part, it eventually connects to the ice age trail if you’re trying to really add some miles

This place is amazing! Gorgeous place for a hike and great pictures. There's a small beach on the river, picnic areas, camping and some great views. Highly recommend for a day outside.

This place is gorgeous. The trails are well maintained and although we didn't camp, it is definitely on our list for our next visit. My only complaint is that I didn't have more time to explore the extensive trails..

We have visited Eau Claire Dells in Summer, Winter, and Fall. It is gorgeous year round. The rocks can be slippery, so little ones have to use caution. But the hiking trails, beauty of the park, and water views are amazing. There are some picnic areas we never utilized with grills, park beach area, and large log pavilions/shelters that could be enjoyed. My only lament is that the toilet is more like an enclosed port-a-potty and the bathrooms had no lights or sinks. One could "wash" hands with a cleanser located outside of the stall. Ew.

Beautiful place. We brought our friends food with us too. Although I'd make sure you keep dogs on a leash. Some lady didn't help he's on a leash and the dogs almost got into a fight. The owner was no where near their dog either, but that does not take away from how beautiful the walking trails are. It's very easy to spend 3 hours enjoying nature and getting out of the city for a while.

Great place for the whole family. Just be sure to keep a close eye on your kids. The trails are long and beautiful, the river was clean and clear. It was also not over crowded at all. We would go again.
