Every year we visit Deer Lake park for different activities and in all seasons. It's a beautiful place for all ages. It's always our go to destination. Parking sometimes is critical on sunny days but that doesn't discourage us coming here again & again. It's worth a wait. We enjoyed today's sunshine here. So refreshing. Boat rentals is open. Board walk is awesome. Sometimes just being close to nature and meditating rejuvenates at this this serene location. It's a gem in heart of the City and a must visit place in Burnaby.
A calming experience, a place for it all; meditation, jogging, sight-seeing, a beautiful date setting and of course the trail that runs along the breathtaking lake. The place is usually visited by the locals and is not intensely crowded. Kayaking and boating can also be enjoyed in the summers at affordable prices. The site is clean and has the facility of public toilets which are well maintained. Bus stops are nearby for those choosing to travel by public transport and of course car parking is free. It is a fun place for kids too as there are swings by the beach which also has cute little ducklings that leave the kids amazed.
Great view on Deer Lake Park. It was freezing winter when we came visit the lake, still quite a lot of people came by. Because it was very chill, they spent a few minutes there, took a picture, and headed off. We brought our dog, and we saw some other poeple also brought their dogs. They all seemed happy, despite the cold weather. There are free parking by the lake side.
Lovely place for families, friends or even for a solo self pampering day trip. You can choose to either rent a boat / paddle board and cruise the waters, take a stroll along the waters, have a nap in the lawn or choose to visit the museum. The art installations at the place are also beautiful.
Lots of parking around and place to have a picnic. The trail around the lake is narrow and if you come with a group, you'll spend most of the time walking single file. if you're considerate Use the washroom by the beach before you get onto the Southside. Took about 1 hrs to walk around it.
A lake with restaurant and community area nearby. It is a great place for a family walk. Bath in the sun and enjoy the live music from the restaurant nearby. I can spend a hour or 2 alone in here to have some "me" time
Nice park with lake and boat rentals. We visited this park and rented a paddle boat. Has a walking trail and good view to the city skyline. Good place for a picnic.
A very peaceful and safe park to take family. There are بیار rentals, paths to walk and areas where you can sit and enjoy a picnic. Playground: Small area for children to play with swings Restrooms: Clean and safe with ample stalls Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables.
I love to go here, one of the best places in Burnaby. I like the gardens there, very well maintained, you see variety of flowers, trees, a walk along the lake makes you feel fresh. There are many ducks there nowadays.
Beautiful park with a trail going around the lake. The trail has a nice scenery and in spring you can see some cherry blossoms. The trail is a wooden deck so it's great for strollers.
