Dee Dee's

Absolutely love their ice cream, the best I had in Halifax. I did taste many flavours but ended up buying chocolate both the times. I found their waffle cone equally good. It’s soft, and perfectly sweet. The second time I went, I tried the chicken burrito as well. It was the first burrito I’ve ever had in my life, so I’m not sure if I am the right person to comment, but I did not like it at all. I found it bland, with no flavour at all. Again, I’m not sure if burrito is supposed to be like that or not, but I saw some similar reviews from others as well. But I would definitely keep going their to have their ice creams. Would try some shakes as well.

Absolutely incredible ice cream and sorbet! A friend recommended this place and it lived up to the hype. As they are a small batch ice cream business, flavours rotate regularly. I ordered the jalapeño ginger sorbet and the berry lime sorbet. I admit I was a bit hesitant but was feeling adventurous that day - however the flavours within each scoop were so complementary! I could taste how fresh the ingredients were, and I liked how the scoops were not too sweet either, and so refreshing. Scoops were rather generous too, especially for the price. Probably some of the best sorbet I’ve ever had in my entire life! If I had more time in Halifax, I would’ve frequented the business once more but hopefully my review has convinced you to visit it in my place : Truly a must-visit!

Delicious ice cream sold by cup, cone, and litre. Several different flavours to try and super friendly staff! The cookies at 75 cents a piece are also a great treat. There’s also some limited, but cute seating inside. Planning to come back to try the burritos:

Very delicious ice cream with variety of flavors and generous scoops. My kids are so picky; however, they loved the taste they chose. I took home the coconut one to try, it is amazing and full of flavor, going back definitely!

Having lived around the corner from Dee Dee's for a year now I can say with confidence how they're easily the best ice cream shop in Halifax. The wonderful selection of Ice Cream always keeps me on my feet giving me something new to try each time. The staff have always been super inviting, friendly, fast, and knowledge. Simply an amazing experience each time.

Scrumptious homemade locally sourced ice cream, Dee Dee's is the place to go for local goodies. Along with ice cream they have cookies, grilled cheese and burritos! They even post their local farm sources on their website. The ice cream is made with milk and cream which makes it creamy and flavourful. Flavours like Creamsicle, Buttered Almond, and mexican chocolate to name a few popular favourites.

Best ice cream and sorbet in Nova Scotia. Great quality, tasty instead of just being sugary. Perfect!
