On the plus side, it was clean and the breakfast room was better than many. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep! On the downside, there were a few repairs needed tub plug broken and a very insecure toilet seat. Not deal breakers though. A sink but literally no counter space. No fan in the bathroom so it was a bit musty smelling. The staff kept the back door to the outside propped open which I didn't like. We and all our gear are up there in our room and anybody can just walk in off the street.
The hotel is moderately clean and tidy - although well presented, not too much sign of wear. The staff are friendly, and very helpful. Unfortunately the beds aren't the most forgiving, but not hugely uncomfortable. OK if you prefer a harder mattress. Breakfast is a good, standard continental - with enough toasters not to fight over.
Due to covid- 1- Breakfast was cold and non appetizing. Was pre packed dunno when and kept in a chiller behind the front desk. 2- No housekeeping in the rooms although our stay was 15 days. 3- Coffee machine from the room was removed. **The above were not mentioned on the company website while booking.** And is not an ethical way of doing business. In General- Rooms are small, very little natural light and depressing. Room and equipment inside is not in good repair and/or damaged. Coil spring mattresses are sagging and you can hardly sleep well on them. Pillows are uncomfortable too. Found some small insects on the bed, unsure what they were. Overall a 1/10 We checked out in a single day and found another place.
Affordable no-frills accommodation for the budget conscious traveller. Staff are friendly, beds are comfortable, there is free parking and breakfast no hot food though, but not much else. It’s on a busy street, so there is some noise, but no issues falling or staying asleep. Would recommend to anyone just looking for an affordable place to sleep while in the city, however if you’re looking for fancy then you’ll probably want to stay somewhere else!
Came here for business. Made it 5 out of 7 nights. When I arrived the front staff were very nice but as soon as I made it to my room it all went down hill. There were stains on all the blankets and towels. The room is freezing, doors not sealed room is just generally dirty. Doors are slamming all night. Walls are paper thin. I felt unsafe in my own room.
To be honest this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. I and my family planned a vacation to BC and booked this hotel for a 4 day stay at a very cheap price, no wonder why people say " You get what you paid for" because it's definitely true. After driving 13 hours we arrived at our hotel and we checked in and got keys to our room. As soon as we walked into the room it smelled weird like chemicals. O boy, we were in for a surprise when we checked the beds, the sheets were really dirty, they had stains and smelled really bad. We then had to call the main desk to ask for new sheets for both beds, and the sheets that were given to us were in the same condition as the sheets that were already on the bed. It seemed like they had never washed their sheets. The floors seemed like they were never mopped or cleaned. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone what so ever.
Pleasantly surprised! Often, such, "inner city" budget friendly establishments are run down and unloved. However, this place is well kept, clean and furnished with modern appointments, if not always modern facilities. The linens are soft, the toiletries pleasant and the mattresses comfortable. The central atrium is nicely landscaped and the gardening rather lovingly attended to. Staff are efficient and the breakfast, though hardly fulsome or unique, is edible and plentiful. All in all, a pleasant and comfortable Inn. If you expect classy appointments and lots of amenities, look elsewhere. If you need a decent night's sleep, come on down!
Everything was more or less as expected for a Days Inn. Beds were nice and clean, 24 hour check in was very convenient. Area was a little sketchy, AC was turned up way too high when we came in, so I turned on the heater and it made our room reek of burning hair. Their were also hairs on my towel, in the shower, and all over the floor which was kind of gross. The gentleman working at night was nice, but the daytime front desk was not friendly at all. The inner garden area was really nice, and the price was fitting for a standard queen with a fridge and a tvwhich kept randomly shutting off?.. But whatever. The breakfast was pretty standard continental but overall it was a good stay.
Inexpensive hotel. Dirty floors. I took a towel and put it down after I took a shower because my feet got dirty from the floors. I shuffled to the bed on the towel and the towel was black after. Floor has never been washed. Noisy, not handicapped friendly at all. The staff was not interested and not helpful at all. they have BF but only stairs no other access.
Great place with lots of local amenities nearby. Now, I didn't have the worst of stays or the best of stays, just the okayest of stays. Ensure to bring valuables inside, there are safes in the room. The complimentary breakfast is good, actually it's great. Toast, muffins, cereal and fresh fruit. There's a McDonald's next door if that's more your fancy, or you can ask the front desk for food recommendations in the area. There is ample parking in the back, or, buses stop right in front. I would recommend this place overall, and I plan to stay again. The staff make it worth the stay
