Days Inn Cedar Falls- University Plaza

Stayed 3 nights and it was not a pleasant experience. Yes they were remodeling but no excuse for a big hole in the wall covered by unsecured piece of plywood. They did not clean the room 2 days in a row which left our room a mess. Both days we were gone the entire day and we were exhausted and it was hard to relax both nights. The manager did call me but did not really seem to care. She did tell me that the cleaning crew tried to open our door to clean our room but that someone closed the door on them. That is false because we were not even present the entire day. Their staff was very friendly but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Never again. MARCOS MUNOZ

This place has been my home away from home for almost six years and let's just say, the staff here is amazing- very friendly!! 😃 And you definitely can't be the price or location!! 👍👍👍

Reasonably priced. They are updating hotel. Cute decor. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Good size tv with variety of channels. Hot biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Staff preoccupied.

Good location for it's proximity to downtown and there are plenty of restaurants/shopping across the street. However, it is important to note that University Ave is going on it's 3rd year of construction and the Days Inn is in the process of a renovation. Decent space and quality for the money. Clean bathroom. Our bed didn't seem to be clean, though. Crumbs under the sheets and one of the sheets had a small blood stain. The wifi worked for my wife's iPhone but not for my Android phones nor my laptop. Curtains didn't close fully so we pinned them shut.

Under construction and so its pretty dirty and some of the work is kind of shotty and not done well. Custmer service was pretty good though.
