My recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Barrie was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.nnMy room was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and I loved having a mini-fridge and microwave for added convenience. The hotel was also quiet, which made for a restful night’s sleep.nnOne of my favorite parts of the stay was the delicious complimentary breakfast. There were plenty of options, including fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, and coffee—perfect to start the day! I also enjoyed relaxing in the indoor pool and hot tub, which were clean and well-maintained.nnThe location was perfect, just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful Barrie waterfront. It was easy to get around and explore the area.nnOverall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, and excellent amenities made this an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Barrie!
Horrible stay.nRoom had a strong smoke odor and unclean room as well.nThe pool area had only three chairs and the front desk refused to get any chairs or allowed to bring any inside the pool area. Enjoy standing while you watch your kids play. The temperature outside of the pool was extremely cold 68* and refused to change that as well. Hot tub was dirty.nI told the complainants to the front desk and she said you have to talk to management in the morning.nThey did nothing!nYou pay for what you get here.nWon't be back.
Absolutely horrible. Will never go again and it was a waste of money. The first room we got had a broken door with a broken security latch and I had to ask for another one. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom had mould around the tub and the shower curtain was non functional so we had to clean the bathroom floor ever time someone had a shower. The front desk girl didn’t seem to care and was in her phone the whole time. The pool didn’t seem clean and the hot tub had foam all it. We stayed for a night. The alarm woke us up at 6am like they never even checked to reset it and I had a random guy call the room at 8am asking to come see me. I told him we never knew each other and he said oh we met before. I packed up my stuff and my kids and left I felt so unsafe. I will be calling for a refund.

I loved the complimentary breakfast, which had plenty of delicious options, and the indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The location was great—close to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront. Everything about my stay was seamless and enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Barrie! 5/5
Staff here are very nice and friendly. The lady at the check-in was quick and pleasant. Breakfast person was super helpful, and did a great job with the eggs and sausages. Sorry didn't get your name!nnRooms, well, they could use a refresh. Bathrooms specifically. Rest of the room was fine, I would say fair for the price. Although the TV remote looks like it had seen better days!nnBottom line, I wouldn't want to stay here with a wife or partner as a vacation spot, but as a place to get some rest, ok-ish.nnA lot of the negative reviews are of third party companies not directly related to the running of the hotel. And people complaining about snow in Barrie? It snows quite a bit here folks!
