Dawson colleges has many awful teachers who literally humiliate you and make you feel bad for your efforts. Seriously what kind of cegep is this? Don’t downgrade your own students when they actually try their best to do their exams and study. One of the french teachers should be fired won’t say the name but you know who you are. This school has serious problems instead of focusing on minor issues you guys should respect your students and help them to understand their mistakes not downgrade them and use them as an example of bad behaviour in many aspects.. Get the french teacher mentally checked she’s not okay.
I personally liked my experience here. The community is very nice, and volunteering for Dawson helped me learn and experience new things and skills. The teachers I had were often very nice and understanding.nnMoreover, the college is easily accessible by metro and we have a mall next door for shopping or for eating if a break is needed. The open green space and the Peace garden around the college is also very nice for a school that is next to downtown.nnParking, however, is very difficult to find, so I do not suggest driving to school. You can, however, pay for the student parking at the Alexis Nihon's parking garage on a monthly term.
Wonderful dining experience and friendly staff! Food was delivered quickly and was all very tasty. One star off because you needed to scan a QR code to get to the menu but otherwise no complaints!nnP.S: The 8th floor has a hidden room where the lizard people congregate. They meet there on the second Sunday of every month at 7:00 pm. Do not try attend if you are not on the invite list or they’ll remove your teleportation privileges and cut off your tail! Learned that the hard way.
Great staff and teachers, did computer science. One nitpick I would give is the cafe could have been a bit bigger, there's usually no place to sit by yourself
Dawson college is connected to the atwater metro and Alexis Nihon mall which is really convenient during winter or rain. The school is a bit old and the escalators keep breaking. The teachers are a bit rude at times, but there are fun and nice teachers as well. Dawson union sets up fun activities like BBQs, bingo, welcome day ect... overall the school is nice and definitely recommend going to Dawson college.
