Lol crazy high prices for a "valu" mart. Very small selection of fish - 1 tiny fillet of cod was $8.50. Only upside is location and convenience, but be prepared to pay for it.
They are over charging on staple items compared to other local and big box grocery stores. Produce is generally smaller in size.
Great grocery store. Small deli counter and lots of fresh produce. Carries both brand name, no frills and PC line.
Conveniently located next to the subway entrance Good selection and prices for the relatively small size of the supermarket Pharmacy inside albeit with different opening hours Younger clerks are usually very nice and friendly I try to avoid the unpleasant older check out ladies who normally work M-F 8-5 Entrance always smells like something is rotting, not sure why
Good selection of products and staff are friendly.
Valu-mart super markets chain is a good option if it's on your way and easy to access, but neither the options nor price are reasons to choose it. The service is OK although I believe for the price they charge on the products they could offer a better service.
There was a lady at the billing counter name is Raymond or similar to it after scanning the items she is throwing it on the thread for me to collect of course she is bagging it later but literally throwing it harshly. She can be a bit gentle on the food items
The staff here are very friendly. The store itself is decent. Not a huge selection, but it's a relatively small store, so that is to be expected. It's a nice mid-range grocery store, with nicer options than a No Frills, but not as many as a Loblaws. I go here for all of my main shopping trips and they usually have what I'm looking for.
Go to place when siple items are needed. Store looks rundown and not the that current with alot of items...just the basics. Also has a funny smell to the place and the parking in the back is limited when busy.
Very fresh meat, fruit and vegetables products, always make it a point to buy my meats here, some of the cashiers are very friendly and efficient, but some of the younger cashiers are too busy talking to each other about their personal life 3ven while serving customers
