One.of the best free dog parks in and around the Ottawa area. There is access to the river for puppies to go for a swim and a drink of water and huge well maintained space for puppies and their owners to walk around. Pups have an amazing large amount of space to run around and all other shenanigans that puppies get upto. Highly recommend this park over any other in the area.
I think this is the largest dog park I have ever seen. Really big and all fenced off. Even have an entrance to the river that dogs can go for a swim in.
What a great spot to bring your dog! It is like doggy heaven. Big grassy field with water access. There is a small parking lot and dry toilet. Water access closer to the parking is more shallow and probably cleaner, the other side had steep access but also wider boat launch.
Clean, safe, scenic and well maintained. Our dog loves to roam freely. We enjoy the calmness of the area and the friendly people who enjoy this park.
Well kept, nice green space to bring the dogs and some water to play around in. Owners have good accountability of their dog behavior, very respectful. Definitely recommend if you want to socialize your dog and tire them out a bit lots of running room. My only complaint is that there isn't nearly enough parking available 10 cars max. There is street parking available but it is in a curve so be careful when crossing with your pups.
We love this park! Always try to make a trip out to manotick at least once a month because our pups love it. Nice green grass and very clean and well maintained. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I’ve never had an issue here with other owners or dogs. Across from the parking lot on the other side, there a nice spot with running water down the river where dogs can enjoy a nice cool swim. It’s a bit rocky though. Ample amount of parking in the lot and on the roads.
Beautiful park! Lots of room for dogs to run around off leash, or enjoy a nice walk in the fields, forest-y area or overlooking the water :
Good park for dogs. There is a trail that will take you to a small dam and a lock just off to the left while entering the parking area. Make sure that you put your dog on a leash near the dam and lock since the currents are deceptively strong.
A gem of a spot! Huge open area for off leash dogs. It also has 2 open water drop off for your dog. This park is not gated, not great for dogs that likes to escape. There is a few picnic table around as well.
I love this park because it has easy access to water for my dog. It's always clean and well kept. Some dogs on the weekends cause havoc. Dog needs a good recall and needs to know how to swim.
