Dave's Village Flooring

I had Dave and his crew come out in the fall of 2008 to patch and refinish original thin strip hardwood floors at my 1950's bungalow in Waterloo. Dave's team did a fantastic job, restoring the original flooring better than it has looked in over 30 years. The floor is always the first thing people ask us about and give compliments on when they come to the house. We were also doing some renovations and had removed sections of walls, which left patches where there was no hardwood. Dave matched and patched the hardwood for us, keeping the staggering natural-looking and doing such a great job that you can't tell where the old wood ends and new wood begins. The only difference can be seen up close as the patched wood fits together tighter at the seams because it hasn't had 50 years to dry and shrink. His pricing was fair and his crew were professional and very careful. I was glad to see that they wore slippers to protect the sanded wood, and they did a great job filling gaps around the baseboards where we had removed the 1/4 round.
